Re: Para 3 LW slippery

I have the pivot adjust pretty loosely, just like most of my knives. The issue really is just getting past the detent. After that, it's smooth sailing. I thought about sanding, or maybe even routing out a groove with a Dremel. However, I'm afraid of what might happen. In the end, I suppose this is a...

Para 3 LW slippery

I'm a big fan of the P3 lightweight, but it sure is slippery on the edges. In use it's great, but I find it a bit hard to handle while opening. Has anyone found a way to add traction to the rounded bits? I don't want to detract from the fantastic aesthetics.

SE Pacific Salt. None of the Pacific Salt 2 nonsense. The first iteration is the last hurrah of the old school Endura 1 - 3 family and it should have remained, dagnabit! Oh well, at least I have two of them.

There was a thread recently about a desire for pink Delicas and Dragonflies. I seem to recall Sal was hip to the idea.

Re: Mule Team Survey

1) Did you purchase a Mule Team knife in the past? Yes, in LC200N. 2) Did you put a handle on it? I made some out of G10 slab. 3) Did you make or buy a sheath? No. 4) Did you test the performance of your Mule? Just via normal use. 5) Did you test the performance against other Mule Team knives? I on...

... and don' t forget besides the small differences in steel you will have a big difference in the springs of the UK-PKs. The stronger spring in the newer ones is a considerable improvement! The action of the CQI UKPK is night-and-day better than the original version. The original was "squishy...

Re: Paramilitary 2 mod with glass breaker

With the new safety glass(think windshield glass on side windows) the glass breaker is becoming a thing of the past. I smashed one with a halligan tool several weeks ago and had to pull the whole window out. A local deputy crashed and was trapped upside down in water on a desolate road. He had to t...

My HAP40 Manbug is the same way. I don't have any Ladybugs handy, but it seems like they do require more manipulation to unlock. Either way, it doesn't bother me at all. The lock on the Manny is perfectly adequate

Re: David Boyle dents on lockbacks

Just got my first Native, a cruwear Native 5 Knifecenter exclusive. I love the thing, and it is very ergonomic but I very much wish it had a Boye dent. In fact, this is my first and last Native unless a Boye dent is reintroduced (I believe it was present on some previous models). Can you add the de...

Knifeworks still has the UKPK in Gin-1: https://knifeworks.com/spyderco-uk-pen-knife-c94sbl3-blue-frn-handle-drop-point-gin-1-serrated/ That is amazing! Re: Slipit as a base for testing new steels

I think the UKPK should be used for USA steels and the Urban for European steels. Less shipping should help keep costs down. Now we just need a nice Japanese slipppie for Japanese steels. :) I second all of the above. It would be cool to have a JPK. It would be a UKPK with a dab of wasabi. Perhaps ...
