Love mine. Have it with me today. Am I the only one that really likes the fuzzy micarta and wishes it was like that always? I wish my Shaman was fuzzy, the hard micarta on it feels like G10.... You are not the only one! I also like the soft/fuzzy feel of the Micarta scales on this version of the PM...

Have a Shaman on the way...Green scales and a DLC Cruwear blade. Nice to have the chance to pick one up at a non-secondary market price.

Stoked to have one of these inbound! The work on the inside of the scale is pretty cool.

The spring I have is deformed so I cannot measure it, nor do I have the tools to measure. I can use with-out the 2nd detent, just not sure I want to.

I bent the 2nd detent ball spring on a Smock during a scale replacement. Spyderco will not send a new spring, I have to send the knife to Spyco HQ for repair.

Anyone know a source for a new spring? Or have a spare?

The Smock is the most fidgety of the Spuderco’s IMO

Glad to add this one, I seem to be drawn to DLC more and more! I wonder how long this one will stay in stock? Seems like the KC Burlap Micarta Shaman lasted until early evening the day of its release.

Looks like this Blade HQ version has black liners and comp tab, that makes it worthwhile in itself for me!

Yikes, this one will be $281 with tax, steep!

Added one of these, the closing action is SUPER stiff. Maybe some use will soften the stiffness

That is some solid customer service by BHQ! I picked one up also...a good price!

Given that the Blade HQ green canvas micarta took 3 or 4 hours to sell out, it would seem that this Knife Center version will last at least as long (if it was produced in similar quantities) I will be looking to get one! I do hope that the Burlap micarta is not slick...however that seems to usually ...
