I know this is an old post (I found it using the search thing), but it's exactly my question, so I figured I'd bring it back up for furthur discussion. I'm referring to whether you would prefer this in the micarta or zytel verion (if price were not an issue). I guess you could include the SS too, if...

Delica II or Calypso Jr II?

I guess the subject is kinda self explanitory. It will be a plain edge, and my first real knife... which one would you think to be better? I would have included the Native II, but the clip in the tip up postiton really gets in the way of my fingers -map Edited: Oh, add in the pro grip SS too! I just...

MY idea for a spydie :D

It would be like the diad, one PE one Spydie-edge, BUT! one knife would be on the opposite side of the handle... so if both blades were open, the edge on one would point up, and one would point down. And it would be adjustable to be tip-up or tip-down. So each person would decide their preffered bla...

Spydie lying in my kitchen drawer?

Hi, as I had one of my kitchen drawers open, I noticed a glimmering knife, so I grabed it to seehow sharp it was (checking to see if I could find a rozor-edge knife in my house). Well... it turns out that this knife has a serated edge that, to my knowledge, looks exactly like a SpyderEdge! It's just...

Jenn, so you carry a knife around for self defense? Aren't you scared that if you ever needed to use it some guy could just push you and take the knife?

But, I think you might run into a problem... which one of these 3 knives are you gonna open the rest of your christmas gifts with? :s

AG! I'm still waiting for a reply on how much my first knife will be... I'm getting impatient (note: I think it will be a SS Delica PE)

Yah, I'm kinda interested in this too... as I'm only 15 (but look 13-14) and am a little concerned (bad word)... more curious how people will react to my knife I am planning to get. But, my first will probably be a Delica PE, so that's no where near as intimidating as a Merlin or endura, I'd assume....
