I've been led to believe that the Para 3 in Maxamet will be produced again. Can anyone confirm? My Para 3 in 52100 is amazing. No complaints. Very curious about these other exotics. Welcome to the forum ScottyWho. Yes, both the Para 3 and the Paramilitary 2 in Maxamet will be in production again. C...
Yes, I just hope they don't disappear like the REX 45 did. As Spyderman91 pointed out, you can get the Rex45 Millie at Bento Box Shop for ~$182 plus shipping. The Pink Endura is going for ~$81 too if you want a break on the shipping. Have to say it would be fun to drop the DLC M4 into a CF handle t...
:D Broken-Plate.jpg I was expecting a cleaner cut through that plate. Maybe it was all the cardboard that dulled it. Yeah it didn't cut nearly as smoothly as when freshly sharpened: aid3013458-v4-728px-Create-a-Garden-Border-with-Broken-Plate-Pieces-Step-5.jpg I like to be able to push cut ceramic ...
Cut down a cardboard box the other day. https://i.imgur.com/j9tDQuR.jpg It probably amounted to 70 or 80 feet of cutting. The edge definitely lost some of its bite after that, although I can still slice phonebook paper at 90° with care. It doesn't glide through quite as effortlessly. Today I was usi...
Hey Bloke, glad you're okay down there! I hope things don't dry up too much and start causing wildfires. Seems like if it isn't one thing it's another!
I hadn't heard about the flooding in Queensland. That is terrible. I hope and pray those poor people can stay safe!
The satin M4 version took a long time to sell out, and DLC used to be less popular so there is a good chance you guys will still be able get one... If Military exclusives sale history is any indicator. Yes, I just hope they don't disappear like the REX 45 did. I have a feeling they're going to go p...
Mine has handled wood carving tasks just fine so far. Yesterday I was using my Rex Military to carve and whittle on a piece of seasoned Osage Orange wood, which is much harder and denser than oak. No chips or rolling or any other type of edge damage.
I have a Native 5 in Maxamet and I never noticed it being particularly thick behind the edge.
Now I have found that my Millies seem to slice a little better than the Native, even with the thicker stock, so perhaps they are ground thinner at the edge than the Native.
Even though these knives are way beyond my price range, I'm happy that they are selling so well. They deserve to. They're stunningly beautiful works of art!
I am in. PM2 in 52100. Was shaving sharp this morning but had to some zip tie work taking down the Xmas lights. Also broke down about half dozen boxes this afternoon. Haven’t tested the edge afterwards. Full disclosure, I am unable to carry the PM2 at work due to a 2.5” max blade policy. I normally...
No kitchen knives? That’s crazy talk. Use knives in ways that make sense. I guess it depends on how much food preparation you do. That's why I said within reason. ;) For me though: I don't usually spend much time in the kitchen, but I've always found that my longer bladed knives like the Military o...
