Thank you.

Some days I'm embarrassed by the gluttony of it. I have been much more under control of late.

Re: How do you store your knives?

Sharing this from a previous thread... Really like having this display/storage box. It has probably saved me more money than any other purchase I've ever made. With my knives now so easily accessible I'm more likely to carry and use the ones that I have rather than purchase another and then store it...

Re: Spyderco EDC You Just Can't Go Wrong With

The Caly 3 is still my go-to perfect knife. It seems like it's only been out of production a short while, but already forgotten.

Re: chaparral versus techno

Neither are particularly scary to non-knife people, but I think the Techno is less so. If opening hard plastic clam shell packaging, I'd want the Techno. If slicing apples, I'd want the Chaparral. I have a fob on my Techno and find the fob enables full grip control. I carry my Techno when I don't kn...

ejcr98, The Dragonfly meets your length requirement (2 5/16"). There are also many house variations : G10, stainless, Nishijin. Or if your really want to go swanky, you could go with the Santa Fe Stoneworks ones. They've done some super nice stone and wood inlays. http://i1147.photobucket.com/a...

Re: Please no more paperclip pocket clips

For the past few years, five of my top six knives in my "Top 10" list have been ones with wire clips. Only the Southard Folder breaks the trend. I think #7-10 would break higher onto my list if they had wire clips too. Both the Lava (my #7) and Delica (#8) I carry I unclipped rather than u...

Re: So 2009.... My Kopa Collection is finally complete!!

I envy your Kopa collection.. I have 4 so far and i am torn between wanting a complete collection or "just" a collection of the ones i like most, as there were some Kopa variants i am less excited about. In any case, great to see them all on display! :) Thanks Larry, I agree with Roman (b...

Birthday Visit to 820 Spyderco Way

Good Evening, I just had a great birthday. I don't think I could have planned it better. Yesterday my family and I left home and traveled to Colorado, on our way to a vacation in Summit County. My wife and son have asthma and we wanted them to acclimate a day at 5000-6000 ft before heading up to 930...

Re: 3 Spydercos on the trail

Welcome skers95! I started my son off with the plain ole Swiss Army Knife. Soon, he'll get his first Spyderco. Like you, I think the Delica will be a great starter knife. I'll probably make him earn it one way or the other. I don't want to just give it to him. I don't think he'll appreciate it as mu...

Re: Mantra or Mantra 2?

abbazaba, I too love comparison pics. Thanks for those. A great choice of comparisons too. I'm on a short trip and also brought the BM 940, ZT 0450, and Positron, plus a Delica, Techno and Slysz to compare with my new Mantra 2. I plan on taking pics if I get a free moment and some good lighting.

New Graham has them in stock. Just ordered one, leaving at least 7 left.

Delica-like, flipper, with a wire clip....Oh, Yeah! Haven't been this excited about a knife since the Slysz Bowie!

Annual Top 10 List

JD Spydo did a "Top 10 List" back in 2012. I attempted to resurrect it last year. Anyway, it's interesting to me to see how folks Top 10 list changes from year to year and I'd love to see this annual tradition continued. This is meant to be your top 10 favorites as it stands today, at the ...

I think the Lum Tanto is BEEEEE-YOUUUUUU-TEEEEE-FUL! Problem is I don't know what to do with it. So it just sits and I just admire it. My SE Aqua Salt on the other hand gets used almost daily as a kitchen knife. It works great with rotisserie chicken and other cooked meats, especially with cutting p...

Re: Q Identification

Hi all! Since reading this thread this morning, it bugged me that I was pretty sure I had seen that logo before. So, after some sleuthing around the internet, I found the company: Gravis Footwear, a subsidiary of Burton Snowboards. Apparently, they're no longer in business in the US, but are still ...
