Re: Looks like the Chinook 4 bouta drop
I own two originals, and a Chinook III. I love all Spyderco knives, but I must be honest and give my two cents that there is nothing like a Chinook I. They are unbelievable. I'm not liking that IV.... But that Military....I think I wiped some drool that I unconsciously let slide... The Chinook was b...

I love all the pet pictures. We'll done and great way to offset such a distasteful start to a thread. Perchance everyone could do it with all of the threads mr. anderson initiates in the future?

I read the post where this member was banned on BF....only a matter of time on this forum. At some point it's good to ask yourself if you really want that to happen here....

Just my opinion, but it's worth having the diamond or cbn rods. Wouldn't waste my time with uf.

Re: Military and Paramilitary: Point Strength?
I have three C36's. What I find odd is my CPM440V and BG42 models are actually quite thick at the tip, like there is more material there. I have a model all black from about 2011 that is much thinner closer to the tip.
Has anyone any pictures to compare theirs? Has anyone else noticed this?

Re: How important is disassembly?
I always become far more attached to knives I own that have never been disassembled...by me or by the previous owner. It's something I always ask if I'm buying used. IMO they never go back 100%, and you run the risk of damage. If mine get dirty, nothing that penetrating oil and compressed air won't ...

Re: Spyderco's Forgotten Outdoor Classics: H-1 or Sprint?
I'd be happy to have the impala back same as it was introduced, but in H1. I would possibly be interested in it with a higher end steel, but still stainless. It was a VG-10 model, so maybe following in the Japanese steel offerings...

I use my two Endura models the most. E4 CE, and E3 CE BK. Never get lubed, get used hard, and just keep going. They rock.

I've been collecting since 1997, and have quite a number of the most desirable models from the 1998-2003 era. I've thought of selling or trading many times, but the truth is you will never get back what you had once you let it go. No one will probably care about my opinion, but I would start keeping...

Re: If you could combine any two models into one knife...
The handle of the Jumpmaster, with the blade of the Temperance. Offered in H1, and SE only. Of course there might have to be minor changes to accommodate the two, but those two things for the most part. I like the nice sleek handle on the Jumpmaster with the all out utility of the Temperance.
