Re: GB Air Return?
This is one that I never got yet still regret missing out on. Just a couple stumbling blocks... #1 It needs a lanyard hole. #2 I wasn't a fan of a non-stainless blade for a EDC gentleman's carry knife. (M390 please) I love the scales on the original, If it get's remade, please don't change them or u...

Re: BaliYo - Titanium edition?
I'm not rich, but a titanium Spyderco Pen would be a must have for me. It would be worth saving up for.

Re: How do you carry your knives and why?
Sadly, no full sized knife knife at work. We are prohibited from using our own knives and only allowed the company provided and approved box cutters. If I carried my knife I would use it out of habit and I'm not in the mood to look for new employment. Always a small one on my keychain. I keep hoping...

Everytime I get a notification from the Spyderco app, I get excited. I'm trying, yet failing, to wait patiently.

Re: Pochi anticipation thread
I've never been so excited for a new knife. Probably because this one won't overlap any of my others. I have big ones, I have small ones, I have medium sized ones, I have ones for water. I DON'T have any shaped like a dog!

Re: Spyderco coffee mug
Just like I rarely use traditional pocket knives because the modern ones from Spyderco are far superior, I rarely use a ceramic or pottery coffee cup. My favorite for the last several years and the foreseeable future is the Yeti 14 oz Rambler Mug. Insulated, stainless (Meaning virtually indestructib...

This is one of the ones that go away from me as well. While beautiful, I seem to recall that it wasn't the most comfortable handle.

Re: What’s the Next Hype Knife to Look Out for?
Although it's not something I'm personally excited about, I imagine that the Shaman Z-Wear PM Brown Canvas Micarta C229MPZW Sprint Run will probably be excitedly snapped up in a feeding frenzy. Many people clamor for more Micarta, the Shaman is a great knife, and z wear being similar to cru-wear, I ...

Handle Thickness
Spyderco makes my favorite knives! That said, I don't care to carry knives clipped and I appreciate a thicker handle. Most of my Spyderco knives are currently clipless...and some have been contoured more to my personal liking. What is the handle thickness of the Lil' Native compared to the regular N...

Re: Damascus UK Penknife UKPK
Hi all, These exotic materials, bolsters, fluted machining, Timascus, etc. really jumps the cost, which in turn will reduce the demand. Materials like ironwood, etc. will require a liner. I don't think everyone wants a $500 knife? sal Exactly! I am a fan of the other thread to bring back a titanium...

Re: Thick handle Spyderco knives ?
I've been preaching for thicker handles for years but people are too obsessed with pocket wafers. The models I can think of have mostly been mentioned already, unfortunately thick handles aren't really Spyderco's thing. This has been one of my desires as well. Don't get me wrong, I understand the l...

Re: Blade HQ copper rex45 pm2
I'm another that is 'odd man out' on the whole brass/copper/bronze scale thing. I'm pretty sure this will be another passing fad as people that actually use and carry their knives will eventually discover copper is less than an ideal scale material. Right now there are all those cool ways of making ...

Re: Hollow Grinds
First of all thanks for bringing up this subject. I've always had an affinity for "Hollow Grind" blades. Has anyone ever sat down and thought as to why most all of your Straight Razors have hollow grind blades? There must be valid reason other than aesthetics? It makes them extremely easy...

Re: Hollow Grinds
In my uneducated opinion, a hollow grind requires an extra step in manufacturing that increases the cost of making a blade. Flat grinds allow us to enjoy more affordable products. I memory serves, some of the earliest pocket knives used to be ground on very large (round) grindstones. (Case knives I...

Re: Pochi anticipation thread
I think the flipper tab will hit a lever on the tail as it moves through the handle, so the blade and tail will flip out at the same time. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch for the tail to engage with the tang and be held in place while the blade is open. I'm not so sure, on the next page of the...

Re: Pochi anticipation thread
Well, I did something I've never done before. I pre-ordered a knife, the Pochi. It's been over a month since the reveal dropped. I was looking to get a new knife and nothing calls to me like this one does. I decided to pre-order rather than buy anything else that will most likely end up in a drawer ...
