Very cool knife and that old catalog is awesome! It seems so natural to me to open a folding knife cliped to my pocket one-handed but seeing the pictures there makes me realize that the clip and one-handed opening were slick tricks back then. Old school spyder-drop for the win!

Very cool! I've been meaning to get a Yellow SE tasman for going through vacuum packed chicken. seems like it would do the job quickly then a toss in the washer and back in my pocket. I also work in a kitchen as a prep cook :D

This is bad. UPS says the package was delivered an hour and a half ago and left with the customer... a woman..... I WAS THE ONLY ONE HOME ALL DAY AND NOBODY BROUGHT A **** THING TO MY DOOR!!!! Solution - I ONLY carry my Spydie RFP. Nothing else in that pocket. The ONLY reason to reach into that pocket is to get my knife. Sometimes that means I have to put my keys in someplace a little more awkward but, so what? I do this for other reasons but it might solve your issue as well.... Cheers!...
