Re: Multiple specimens

10 nirvanas is quite a number

i own just 2 military models in s30v and s110v but i’ll plan to add a third in a tool steel like k390 or something similar because i love the ergos and feel the need for a non stainless version of this all time classic

Re: Thoughts on Perrin PPT Sprint?

the two i ordered for a friend and me arrived yesterday. it’s my first ppt since i never pulled the trigger on the standard one and the black sprint wasn’t up my alley. i think it’s a beautiful well balanced knife rather on the heavy side, maybe i’ll make a custom backspaced from carbon fiber in the...

Re: Back locks rule

i like all locks on my folding knives, but i prefer a liner lock since the knives usually are bit lighter and way easier to clean out

Re: Manix 154CM

a hollow ground combo edge manix was my first spyderco, i like the steel but not the hollowgrind so i reground it --- my first regrind was not my best work, but it's still in my EDC rotation but more like a mule of a knife

Re: Shipping of internal parts

If "standard" parts, like screws, bushings, etc. (nothing proprietary to Spyderco) was sought, why would it be incumbent on Spyderco to supply them? There are plenty of screw and bushing sellers to choose from who already have inventory and sales in place. All one needs are the specificat...

Re: What do Spyderco’s Distributor’s do?

Re: Shipping of internal parts

That's why i said, specs would be nice so guys like me can get the screws on their own without having to bother Spyderco customer service. Especially when you happen to get one of those "returned knives" as i mentioned earlier. Besides, i never whine about stuff that i broke and when i fi...

Re: Taking apart knives

i‘m ok with red locktite proprietary screws are also okay if wera, wiha or any other reputable toolmaker sells appropriate bits for these if there would be softer screws the moment this new policy would start i’d stop buying spyderco knives. i and a lot of my knife loving friends live in europe and ...
