Re: St. Nick’s Exclusive red and black Goddard!

Mine is out for delivery today as well. I wouldn't be surprised if these aren't gone after today as soon as some pics in the wild and reviews start coming in. I haven't owned a Goddard in several years and I am looking forward to giving it a try in 4V. It may become my go to campsite knife. Slightly...

Re: St. Nick’s Exclusive red and black Goddard!

Based on some of the discussion I am really curious if the throwback design, complete with old school barrel clip, will turn buyers off or if it will be a selling point and grab people’s interest, or make no difference at all?

Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!

I ordered mine. I didn’t really expect these to just fly out of stores but for the cost they are moving faster than I thought they would.

Re: Overlooked, Obscure Models Deserving Of A Sprint Run?

I don’t know if they are deserving of a Sprint Run because I missed them the first time around but I would like to see one or all of the Jerry Hossom fixed blades have another run. They look pretty intriguing to try with a different steel. They seem that they would be a good candidate for AEB-L.

Re: Chaparral

Spyderco used to be cutting edge with materials and designs. Between their obvious lag in getting Magnacut to the market after all of the hype, competitors production knives already using Ultem, and the constant recycling of a few of the same designs really does leave me kind of wondering what’s goi...

Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!

I don’t really have any particular utilitarian need for the knife. For sheer functionality I honestly would use a fixed blade for a knife this size. I guess that it channels my inner mall ninja and is simply a beautiful design and high quality materials for a knife that I wouldn’t otherwise be able ...

Other than the BBB Collab, this is the knife I'm most excited for.

In a world of $200 pm2s, $300 Spydiechefs and $400 Bestechs, I think it's a great price.

Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!

I am excited about this one too. I have never quite pulled the trigger on the original but I’ve always been interested in the design. I hope that I can find an aftermarket clip that fits it though. It looks to be a really nice knife and I can’t wait to get my hands on one to give it a try.

Shades of Green

If you have a comparison pic of the different shades of green that Spyderco uses would you please post a comparison pic between the Knife Joy lil Native with other shades of green that Spyderco uses next to it? I appreciate it. I really want to buy into this knife with 20CV but I am afraid that it i...

Re: Gayle Bradley 3 Possibility?

Sprint version of the Air would be something special. I would love that. I agree with you in part. The detent was terrible on the Air. It would open in your pocket with just normal movement throughout the day. Fix that minor problem (major if it gets you in the wrong place) and I would love one. I ...

I just don’t see the need for it. I don’t buy PRC Spydies but between Ladybugs, Manbugs, and the McBee the field is pretty covered for me.

That’s pretty impressive. The quality people from the top down that run Spyderco are yet another reason that I am glad to support their business in cluttered knife market. That was a first class move. Congrats!

Re: 52100 Native Chief?

As a 52100 virgin, somebody please explain to me the attraction. And it's gotta be more than "easy to sharpen." Is it the toughness y'all like? I enjoy the steel. From what Doc Dan has posted in the past, he lives in the tropics and I can see where corrosion resistance is more of a concer...

52100 Native Chief?

I know that Golden is at capacity limits in pushing knives through but I wonder if there is a chance that we will see a 52100 Chief? I know that a lot of people have their issues with it but it’s my favorite steel that Spyderco puts out and it’s the perfect platform for it. On the opposite end of th...

Re: Objective Question

Military for me. The large handle allows use with gloves and there is plenty of room for a variety of grips. The slight negative blade angle keeps your wrist at a comfortable angle for longer use.
