Congratulations, the kerambit is an excellent knife. As you said it's very specialised, if you're planning to carry it for its intended use I've found it waves very well with a zip-tie, I don't know if waves are your thing but I've found a zip-tie waved kerambit waves open even easier than the E4s a...

The store was W.S. Surplus 01865 241433 they still had a PE G-10 rookie, a SE G-10 Navigator and a SS SE rookie, those were about the only "rare" ones though. All the others you could find cheaper elsewhere on the net. The lady seemed decidedly unimpressed when I told her I collect spyderc...

Got some new toys...

Ahhh... life is good, having got my christmas spydies a few weeks ago (a week or so after christmas) I was amazed to find an army surplus store in Oxford that stocked spydercos today while I was looking for something else, I was even more amazed when I saw which spydercos they had! After having a li...

EDIT: In response to Zac... You're right it doesn't seem to be Benchmade's "style" to give people credit for their inventions/ideas. Have a look at page 49 of this years spydie catalog... Ball Chain, Cordura, CPM, Crucible, Empire/Boltaron, H-1, Kevlar, KRATON, Kydex, Linerlock, Micarta, P...

Agreed from what I've seen the only company benefiting from this is Benchmade. I already had a fairly low opinion of Benchmade before they started ripping off Spyderco's designs but this has reached a whole new level. The Dejavoo is basically a Lum Chinese in G-10 "You will only think you have ...

Amazing. Beats that time a girl tested the sharpness of one of my knives ON HER TOUNGE, tasting blood she declared that it was sharp, sharper than any other knife she'd seen...

I'd like to see both return, I like Deacons idea of a 600 piece sprint of the G-10 police each year, in different colours of G-10.

How about an updated C54 too, in G-10, like bigger caly 3.

The yojimbo doesn't really wave very well, I tried it with a zip tie once, my trousers didn't survive :(

Spyderco has quite a few "definitive" SD folders IMHO, the kerambit, waved delica, civilian, yojimbo and chinook all spring to mind, it all depends what floats your boat really, I've been lurking on TPI and I bought Southnarcs two R.E.M. DVDs and I must say I'm very impressed with his mate...

This is actually quite a good idea for a thread, just start the ball rolling and see where the conversation leads. Zen- I haven't handled it yet, I gotta wonder why they haven't updated the regular military with nested liners though, it might add a little extra to the price but then if they can get ...

Ruxton: I think your views on religion are a little bit sad. Yes, most religions of the world disagree, but the disagreements do not usually lead to violence. Also, with the picture you pointed out, it seems like you think that just because evil things happen in the world, it means that there is no...

I'm an atheist. There are so many religions out there to pick from, yet they all seem to be based on the teachings of men. I think alot of religious beliefs aren't what people really believe, rather they are what society/family/peers etc. have taught us to believe from an early age, also the religio...
