Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

Used my Urban to cut some clovers. https://i.imgur.com/loPi4mz.jpg Having a socially distant picnic with wifey today, and I looked over and saw a four leaf clover. Then another, and another, and so on. Found 33 four leaf clovers next to our blanket, and one 5 leafer. That’s the one on the Urban. Nee...

Re: Crazy Deals that are Non Spyderco

Use code memorial2020 at skblades.com for an extra 20% off. Plus free US shipping on all orders. Through Monday. He only carries a few exclusive Buck knives, but is a fantastic seller. I have bought from him a couple times before. What makes this a crazy deal is that he already has 2 of his knives o...

Re: PM A11 vs k390 edge geometry and experience

... These guys do something interesting with K390. Not spyderco but still pretty impressive considering the HC rating. I just watched this yesterday. If you notice at the end, it looks like Spyderco is listed as a new patreon supporter. Maybe we will see some Spyderco knives in future videos. I kno...

Got shipping notice for my first h1 knife. A salt 1 PE from NGK. And a USA made baliyo pen too. Pretty excited for both.

Re: Can We Get A Fluted CF Military?

I would be in on one for sure. I also think this would be phenomenal treatment for the manix backlock. And I honestly can’t believe we haven’t seen one of the paras done up yet. Both Ti and/or cf would suit me just fine for any model. Maybe one could be the 45th anniversary knife?

Already can’t wait. Will be in for a few bandanas at least. Would be cool if the bugs on the hats were embroidered with the same cool spiral pattern as the Taichung Spydies.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

Each piece is 18 inches wide. 5 cuts per piece. About 40 pieces. So that’s around 3600 inches which is like 300 ft. Will still shave for the most part.

Re: custom shop...

Buck has a custom shop. So does Benchmade. I can’t even count the number of how times I’ve gone to their websites and built a cool knife I wanted to buy, or thought was cool. Then closed the knife builder and forgot all about it. But later bought a regular production or sprint or exclusive. And I th...

I don’t necessarily picture a certain model as much as I do the Spydie hole. Even when I see any sort of cutout on any other knife. No matter the shape, I still think Spyderco.

Great Pic, is that blackwashed?
Thanks moose! Yes. It’s the dlc 4V. I swapped the red g10 scales for the new diamond arc ones. Absolute love the new texture. It’s like a new “Bi-Directional” g10.

Re: Spyderco in use, review/feedback thread

Carried S45vn all week this week. Lots of cardboard and some gallon plastic jugs mainly. Some yard duty at home, as well as work too. Edge holding has been right on par with s30v/35vn in my experiences. The “hair popping” sharpness leaves pretty quickly, but it still remains shaving sharp and workin...

Re: Best place to buy 2nd hand

I have had good experiences at both cuttingedge.com and Arizona custom knives. Both can be pricey, but there are usually some decent buys. Like right now a g10 P4 k390 for $175@AZCK. Cuttingedge doesn’t always have a lot of spydies, but they drop their prices 10% every month until sold.

I will definitely be trying to score one of these. At only $50, it’s a no brainer. Fingers crossed.
