Some while ago I tried to register on USN, probably the V1 iteration of it, but could never get it to work. It may be that I never got the e-mail/account confirmation e-mail. Maybe the new site works better? I might never know. Think I lost the momentum somewhere along the way They used to be very ...

Re: Folding Prybar
While I do sometimes carry and find use for a dedicated pocket pry bar, I can usually get by with a SAK, specifically the larger flat driver/pry tool on the bottle opener.

Re: Thumb ramp or naw?
Didn’t vote because I like both, but have found on smaller knives no thumb ramp is preferable.
For example the dragonfly feels cramped behind the ramp where the lil native you have more room to stretch your thumb.

Speaking of, does anyone have the ‘salt’ sticker? I’ve seen it posted somewhere, but can’t see it in this thread.

The d-shape is merely to prevent the barrel from spinning.. you still need a screw in each side right??
You should be able to remove both screws from the pivot.

I was pleasantly surprised with this shade of yellow, its more like gold than neon. The entropic clips go nicely with the salt theme :)

Re: Community Sharpening Journal
Reprofiled this one yesterday, CPM M4 15dps, 100 through 1000 diamonds and 5mu/3.5mu strop, can whittle hairs and push cut tissue. Factory edge was ok, one side was off by about 2 deg so took some work knocking off the shoulder and tip needed a bit removed to align with the bevel. Approx. 2hrs / 3 b...

Re: Salt 2 Wharncliffe: gone for good or CQI incoming?
No there are still green LC200N models, also.
I just can’t see why they would use magnacut on the seki salts when they’ve just invested in development and manufacture of H2 in Japan.

Re: Salt 2 Wharncliffe: gone for good or CQI incoming?
The seki salt line has just transitioned to H2, I wouldn’t expect a change to magnacut, I would say that will be used on usa salt models.
Seems like the salt 2 wc is just getting the chop from the lineup.
