Re: The Waterway Will Be Mine...
From its infancy, the Waterway was designed to be an all around utility knife. It is made to withstand extreme corrosive environments and it has a number of design features that are meant to optimize it for fishing and water activities but it was always intended to be a slim but strong “do everythi...

Re: The Waterway Will Be Mine...
Looking forward to using this as a nice allrounder. Although I love water mine won't go fishing and will stay quite dry, having epilepsy water and me don't combine as well as I would like. ;) Would also really like to someday see that "Fresh Waterway" happen! :) I'd love to see a slim fixe...

Re: Your Two Favorite Locks
I skipped the slipjoint tu just pick locks that actually lock 'fixed'. Slipjoint is great as well though. My favorite is the backlock, I picked the caged ball bearing lock 2nd. In my experience all of these locks are pretty good at keeping a blade closed. (presuming it is well executed, 2 out of 3 E...

Re: More Cruwear?
A knife brand that's well known for making fine edges on great slicers should definitely do well having a great steel known for it's toughness as a production steel.

Re: K390 in Golden made spydies ?
Big fan of my Police 4 and it has seen quite a bit of work although for my urban environment it's at times a bit big so I carry a smaller blade that gets most work done. It's currently on loan to a friend who needed to try out K390 as well as the Police 4 design. On K390 I think that it shoulkd be t...

Would be very keen on this one, specifically with the Endura 3 handle. :)

Re: Police4 FRN ETA
Wow! This blade in FRN with (partial-) serrations would be fantastic! Would probably still occasionally grab the original for the K390 but This in FRN with a combo edge would probably be one of my alltime favorite allround users. Probably in waistband or backpocket with a Native 5 LW or Chaparral LW...

Re: Manix Backlock Sprint poll
Would mainly be interested in a Manix backlock sprint if it would be the same thickness on the handle and blade as the regular Manix, the regular backlock Manix was just a bit too beefy for me. I voted Cruwear/3V/4V and think it's also not necessary at all to make an extra thick blade when using a t...

Re: Sal, would a Native 5 LW in Cruwear
The Native 5 LW in Cruwear would still be one of the best ever Spyderco users I think so that should be made anyway even though most aficionados might prefer a somewhat fancier version in G10. Still hoping for the LW!

Re: Cru-Wear for a standard production model
Has been adressed before but should be said again. Should definitely be some affordable production Cruwear available! :D With the option of US steels going to Japan being available there should at least be an Japanese 'FRN family' sprint in Cruwear!! Would also really like a Manix2 LW in Cruwear, am...

Great color, just not my favorite knife. Might have bought one if I would life in the US and could just buy one without all the hassle and cost for international orders.

Re: D'Allara 3 feedback
Hi Evil, We've learned that "feel good in the hand" is not as important to most as "easy to carry" meaning less pocket real estate. At this time, the demand is not sufficient to invest in FRN tooling. sal Such a shame.. I've always hoped this would make it to FRN eventually main...

Re: Endura / Pacific Salt greatness - who knew?
Definitely one of my favorites!
Have been hoping there might be a sprint sometime of a Pacific non-Salt with a FFG PE VG10 blade or something like that?
A FFG Pacific Salt in LC200N may well be good enough so really looking forward to see that, should be a great Spydie!

Re: K390 Manix 2
I have one of those but I find it chips a lot so I would love something a bit tougher. I would definitely prefer something tougher, just think it's a shame that one is gone again. ;) That 52100 Knifeworks version would be great in FRCP! Also still don't understand why there isn't a LW Cruwear Manix...

Re: K390 Manix 2
I don't think it would be very light weight with a backlock. The G10 backlock weighs as much as the standard Manix in spite of being linerless. How much weight would frcp safe? The G10 backlock has thick G10 and thicker blade stock than the regular Manix's. The LW backlocks work very well, look at ...

Re: K390 Manix 2
Would love to see some Manix LW sprints, with backlock would be even better but I don't consider that very likely. Regular LW sprints should be interesting affordable user knives with a change of steel. This! I would love to get an lw in an interesting, well balanced steel! Would already be happy t...
