I too need a better storage system. My problem is that I like to keep the boxes, and the knives in the boxes. So sure I can just get tubs and dump them in. But I want something like a Pelican case that is fully foam lined...but not filled with foam. So that I can stick them all in, labels up...so I...

3 curio cabinets, 2 large and 2 small. These photos were taken back when I was living in NY, but the cabinets all survived the trip south, and I'm still using them. I've been looking at Spyderpacs for quite some time now... They seem great. Good quality, nice looks, lots of storage and compact.
Might be time to purchase one soon...

I picked up a five drawer craftsman tool chest and lined the drawers with some of that non-slip cabinet liner to protect the scales. Works pretty good, and I have plenty of room to grow my collection (and it locks if needed). I had built a series of mini-shelves in my closet similar to what you see...

I believe my case is the SE-920 and it has plenty of room for even the Military and Police models standing up like soldiers. I believe I paid $70 shipped for mine. http://25.media.tumblr.com/fbc97dd92dee8a1e140b85115aff1bf5/tumblr_mj4ab9rj5k1rsbaybo1_1280.jpg That sure is cheaper than Pelican... Ni...

Show your main knife storage :)

This is my main knife storage chest. About 70% of my knives are in here, the other 30% lingers around in my house, pocket, display cases, drawers, etc. http://i914.photobucket.com/albums/ac342/H34DSHO7S/DSC_0088_zps07a652b5.jpg http://i914.photobucket.com/albums/ac342/H34DSHO7S/DSC_0089_zpseb4ae840....

I'm taking my kids to Disneyland today, so my knife is staying in the hotel room. Since we're traveling in occupied territory, I've been using my Pingo for the past several days. I have to say, this knife is fantastic. I went through several slip joints and short blades trying to find a good one fo...

I left the house without putting a knife or two in my pockets. I haven't made that mistake in years. I have a Ladybug Salt on the keyring, but otherwise I'm knife-naked today ... Always have a Multitool and one of the slipjoint bugs or ladybug one me, but when I forget my main blade... The naked fe...

From my own experiences, I can say that the alltime favorite starting Spydie, is the Tenacious.
But if you have more money availible, I should go for an Endura 4, Centofante 3 or a (Para)Military :)

Good luck and welcome to the world of Spyderco :D
