I'm not sure your stropping as much as you're "steeling" the edge. Unless you have sandpaper glued to the bottom of your feet;-).

I find that the comp lock is just as easy to use as a backlock with either hand. I'd go as far as to say it's actually a bit easier to use with my left hand.

The last spree I had, was a few months ago when I got a Rookie and Dragonfly in an Ebay lot for a great price. Before that, the last Spyderco I bought was a Para2 that I picked up last year.

I don't own a Tuff, but my only thought would be to make sure the locking surfaces are clean. I supposed it's possible some foreign matter got in there and is interfering with the lock. If not, send it in.

If you need any testers, I volunteer my hands and my pockets. I know it will be tough, but I feel it is my duty to help my favorite knife company. :D

rdoloos,

Perhaps settle was the wrong word, as it has always looked like a nice knife to me. Just not as nice as a South Fork ;-)

If I could afford it, I would be all over the South Fork at that price. As it is, I may have to settle for a Moran if I want a Spyderco fixed blade.

FRN Chapparal?

Will we be seeing an FRN Chapparal down the road, or would that be too close to the FFG Delicas?

I'm looking forward to this one. I just hope it uses the old style handle. It would be nice if we got a choice of colors as well.

Same thing I was thinking Jazz. I'm trying to wait for the flat ground FRN Native, but I have a feeling it's going to use the new style construction. If that's the case, I might have to go with one of the older ones. Did the Salt series go to the all screw construction as well, or do they just use a...

Any new one piece FRN models?

I know Spyderco is starting to move toward knives with screw together construction and liners under FRN scales, but I was wondering if we will see any new models introduced that use the "one piece" FRN handles and pinned construction. I like the fact that Spyderco is always looking to the ...

Every time I see a review of the Southfork, I'm tempted to sell all my other fixed blades off. I just love the design of the knife, it just looks so versatile, and xavierdoc's review kind of reinforces that belief. It looks like a knife that is at home in the mountains or on a fishing boat. Hopefull...
