Re: Post a spydie and a gun thread

I was dry-firing in my basement yesterday afternoon and thinking I should take a couple photos with whatever was in my pocket. I figured I would just get frustrated with the camera on my phone.

Re: Post a spydie and a gun thread

I check the picture forum with the hope this thread is updated. I should have taken photos on Sunday morning.

Re: Show off your latest purchase

Decided to add just a little bit more titanium to the collection...and that 'Art Deco' sunburst machined handle is going blow my Dad's mind when I show it to him (Because he hates machining titanium with a passion, and seeing it done superbly fills him with a loathing admiration) http://i10.photobu...

Re: Carry 2 knives? 3 knives? More???

I always have two, one for each front pocket. I used to carry one but then I'd set the thing down and not have it when needed.

I never heard of the Black Talon 2 before and looked it up. Gee, I wonder where they got that blade design from...?

Re: Grip tape, gun grips, and stippling

FRN knives already have a trippy texture. Adding tape to my all stainless Endura would just year my pants all that faster.

Re: What OTF or balisong?

I've been wondering about this myself. I saw a Microtech on sale at $175 but just saw that it sold out. https://dsgarms.com/mtk120-10rd" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I am not sure for me if the cost of an auto is worth the neat-o factor.

No pic handy right now. The damage is not so awful but more than I want to take the time on.

Re: Re-grinding services?

Thanks again for all the suggestions.

I thought of sending the Endura to the factory and paying the repair costs but I'm thinking about getting a flat grind. If the work has to be done anyway I figure I may as well have it thinned. I've no other flat grind ones - unless Mules count as flat grind.

Re: Mountain Biking

Southern Wisconsin is Trek central and my wife and I bought a 29" X-Caliber 8 for my son last summer. We paid a bit over $900 after shopping around. My son immediately wanted to add all sorts of upgrades and doo-dads but we bought the 8 because it would be more durable and we are not going to d...

Re-grinding services?

I mucked up my Endura when using the blade to scrape wallpaper off plaster. Can anyone list places that do any regrinding services. I cannot tell if Tom Krein still does that work or not.

Re: The .22 Rimfire thread

We have three .22LR rifles and a conversion kit for an AR. Two of those rifles are old, inherited guns. I bought a Marlin 795 a few months ago but we've only taken it to the range once. Range fees get expensive at $15 a person with myself and both boys.

Re: Screwed up the tip on my Endura

I'll have to try grinding the spine on the Sharpmaker. That broken shown above is serious bummer.

After I bought my sprint run JD Smith I really, really enjoyed using the blade and had bad dreams about busting the tip off.

Screwed up the tip on my Endura

I was scraping peeling paint and wallpaper off a hard plaster wall. Never though the surface was hard enough to wear down the VG10 of my lightweight Endura. Dang it. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7288/16318549613_43840d61a3.jpg Spyderco Lightweight Endura damaged tip by GOILLINI , on Flickr https:/...
