Re: Why not more PPT style (end mount) clips Sal

I'd also love to see more fold-over clips like that of the PPT. I'm one who will take clips as deep carry as they come. Most wire clips are very good in this regard, but clips like the PPT are even better. Sign me up.

I'd love to see an updated Lum Chinese sprint with updated clip. Wire clip, please! Contoured titanium framelock in ZDP-189 if I'm dreaming…

m390 and carbon fiber would be an amazing combo that I'd love to see in a C22 sprint.

Re: Shot Show surprises

Love the button compression lock of the Smock, but not a fan of the clip. Strangely, some of my absolute favorite Spydercos like the C22 Michael Walker ZD-189 and Lum Chinese feature a similar clip, but I really hate it if I'm being honest.

Re: Caly 3 HAP40 dropped

Is it common for Sprint runs to trickle out like this? This gives me hope for getting all of the great ones this year. Yes, it's pretty common to see sprint runs released in several waves. There's an initial frenzy for the first batch, but it does get easier to snag a sprint as more are released an...

Also at KnifeWorks. I wonder if these are the last of the Caly Hap40 trickling out?

I would love to see s110v. I'm fan of trying different steels on the same platform, and the Chaparral is one of my favorite Spydercos.

I'm sort of a steel snob so the steel will influence my choice buy or not. I’d love to see this in M390 and carbon fiber. But if this is made in Seiko City, we might...

I wonder if any of the steels mentioned in this thread would be fair game:

HAP72 or XVC11, perhaps?

C22 Michael Walker in 2019

Sal recently dropped this in the Japanese Sprints thread: http://www.spyderco.com/forumII/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=76503&start=20#p1189072 No walker's planned for 2018, but I'll put in a request for '19. sal The C22 Michael Walker is my favorite Spyderco collaboration ever, so this is really exci...

The clip is the only thing that isn't perfect on the C22 so that would be awesome :D
A deep carry wire clip would be amazing. The C22 is hands down my favorite Spyderco collaboration, so this is extremely exciting news.

Re: Nirvana 2

Rassenti has stopped producing custom Nirvanas (as in he's replacing it in his model line). I spoke to Peter about the Nirvana two years ago at NYCKS. He essentially said that he was no longer going to make the Nirvana because he was going to let Spyderco have their time with the production version...

Re: Michael Walker C22 SPrint Run ZDP189 back from Tour of Duty in Tuscany !

We need to hit Sal up on this. ZDP-189, carbon fiber, and a wire clip would be a home run, but I would be up for the steel of Sal's choice. I could see this produced in Taichung with S30V or XHP. Let's get the ball rolling! I feel the original C22 was all about pushing boundaries in terms of produc...

Re: Michael Walker C22 SPrint Run ZDP189 back from Tour of Duty in Tuscany !

If sprinted again in K390 please. Definitely would be in for K390. But if it has to be made in Seki City from a Japanese steel, I would be quite happy with ZDP-189 again or Hap40 as well. Since the original Swiss-made C22 was the one of the first production knife with carbon fiber scales, let's kee...

I would really love to see a sprint run of this model. It never seems to be brought up as an option. This ZDP-189 C22 is my favorite Spyderco. Just give it a wire clip next time. ;)

Re: Favorite Pre-2005 Spyderco Model?

C22 Michael Walker. I'd absolutely love to see a new version or sprint run in a PM steel. The size, blade shape, and light weight of the Michael Walker design is just great as an EDC. Give it a deep carry wire clip and it would be perfect.
