I gave one a shot, sanded it down, rounded the end some, filed some finger grooves and did some burning then I dyed it with RIT dye and sprayed it with clear coat. My Tasman salt has torx construction. I have several byrd and spyderco knives and so far the tasman came out of the box not all that sharp compared to the others.
