I guess I'm just seeing it differently. I just don't understand why everyone is so against customers having rights. If a customer wants to pay BBS ten thousand dollars for a blue Military, that is his right. Yes, I believe it would be foolish, as it is available for much less. But it is the customer...

So what happened to the 'theyre not charging over MSRP'? Now that theyve graduated well past that the defense shifts to Nikon cameras and things that has nothing to do with it? Again, BBS didn't charge the high price in the ebay auction referenced earlier. The customers themselves set the high pric...

OK. ;) This is really a buyer issue. People pay way above MSRP all the time on eBay because they simply don't do a quick Google search. :( I really don't think you can fault BBS, at least not much. This is the buyer's responsibility. This is exactly what I was trying to say earlier in this thread, ...

I hope they are never aloud to commission such a sprint run again. I didn't think it could get worse, this is disgusting. In effect, BBS as a Spyderco dealer sold knives way beyond MSRP, BBS proponents on here keep talking about MSRP... What now? It's still okay right? *JNewell please do...

Because they have a propensity for lousy pricing(hence the accusation of greed which implies "shadiness"). And the terms of service are not very confidence inspiring. Roger at KW, always has good pricing and is very good at communications. That's a bit more confidence inspiring in my book...

Besides, why are you trying so hard to convince people who have a negative impression of BBS? I'm just trying to posit a counter argument to all of the baseless, unproven allegations that BBS is taking part in some sort of evil conspiracy, intentionally withholding hundreds of knives until an unann...

Letting that knife bid up to $392 dollars while they are selling them for $130 less through their storefront is dirty and dishonest. That may well be their business, and their business is shady. Shady, shady, shayyyy-deeee. Is it none of my business what they do? Sure, and none of my business is ex...

There isn't anything shady about that at all. If people want to pay that much, that is their business, not ours.

Yep, there is a Cranberry Salsa.

Something certainly going on with their inventory numbers... I did the "try to buy 1000" deal last night with them and they showed 150 or so left. Just doing it again now, their site says 103 left. Seems like they're flying off the BBS shelves now, what gives? Based on the pics that forum...

FWIW, I recall reading that it's no longer called an Emerson 'Wave', but is now called an Emerson 'Opener'.

OK, and another sold for $280. What's the point?

I don't really think he was kidding. He said he is going to give away his entire Para 2 collection to a contest winner and under normal circumstances, I don't think any forum member here would do that.

I chose to pass on this knife, so, zero for me. Forum knives just aren't for me, no matter what the materials are made of. The mad, scrambling rat race to acquire one takes away any enjoyment or pleasure I would get from the knife.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, I have never been able to get these discounts to work. It states: "Discount is 35% off our regular prices on select items only." I understand the posted prices on the Sierra site are not "regular" prices, rather they are already discounted and th...

In my opinion, this game would get real boring, real fast if everyone just posted different color Para 2's every day. If it were up to me, Para 2's would be banned from this contest. I like seeing the less common knives that aren't talked about as much.

The original Spyderco kitchen knives had no hole in the blade either, but they were actual Spyderco products. Sometimes the hole in the blade is not always the best indicator.

I don't think those are actually Spyderco brand knives.
