pedropcola - I won't say I will never buy another Benchmade product, but I am disappointed in their actions. Honestly, how hard would it be to work out a arrangement, then list somewhere on the Vex's box & advertising "...with Spyderco opening hole." or some such. Like it was stated so...

Simply great.

As a disabled vet (no not Afghan/Iraq), I love seeing companies honor our soldiers like this.

Simona - 9mm Luger is just a holdover name from back when the 9mm was chambered in the German Luger. The 9mm Parabellum just became associated with Luger pistols, thus people started calling it a 9mm Luger like a nickname. Same concept applies when someone says they own a .45. ?? Excuse me, what kin...

No brainer - I close my knives 1-handed.

Course this is because my left arm/hand is disabled :p

JD Spydo - At 1st I was not big on the Temperance. After having one I really leaned to appreciate it's multi-task design. The only thing that bugs me is the "plasticy" feel of the handle. If they made one in Micarta I would get it with a quickness.

My way is pretty straightforward - They sit on top of my chest-of-drawers in their boxes. The ones I am currently EDC'ing are laying out with other knives I EDC. One day I need to get a Spyderpak or some such thing.

I have a Sig 225 and I love it. It fits my hand like it was custom made for it. Because of this it points right on target for me providing quick target acquisition.

Ok I can see what some people are saying about the blade tang when closed. Had someone say they rounded the edge of the tang because when closed it formed a sharp corner.

I would prefer open construction. That said, I would pick the Manix or Mini-Manix, if I was limited to Spyderco Folders.

I am about convinced one of my next Spyderco will be a Para-Military. Only thing stopping me is all the rumors of the Para-Military coming out improved or in a Sprint Run. Any idea what the changes wikll be and when?

Also could someone post a side shot of the Para-Military closed?

Thanks.

I EDC a Blue Handled 93mm Rescue at work. Working as a nurse I went with it because it was more Sheeple friendly - Not black, Not pointy. The only thing I would change is for it to be all serrated, and a bit lighter/smaller. The 93mm Rescue is right at the upper limit of what is comfortable in size ...

Just wondered as I have found that around 2.6 to 2.7 ounces is the most I can carry at work in scrubs without bothering me.

Just noticing that the differences between a SS Police and SS Endura are very slight, at least in my opinion.

The Tim Zowada felt good in the hand but I have never been fond of liner locks with a large cut-out.

The Shabaria is such a unique looking knife that I will have to get one eventually.

The reddish color I have heard attributed to after-effects of laser cutting.

Other imperfections should not pose any issue if you intend for the knife to be a user.

93mm Rescue - Clip issues.

Noticed that the clip on my blue handled 93mm Rescue was loose the other day. I thought I had tightened it up, but it is loose again. Do I need to loc-tite it, or just tighten it up more this time?

As much as I really want a SE Delica, I will be patient and wait for a BRG ZDP-189 SE Delica.
