This makes me wonder if Willey Knives regrinds the back side thinner. The SE portions of factory Spyies are chisel ground as many know. This could be accomplished by regrinding the back side to an almost zero grind before serrating. Is this right or just in my head?

So im leaning towards going with Willey knives for getting my Military serrated. Sales manager just emailed me back and unless he made a typo (waiting to hear back) its FOUR DOLLARS to serrate a blade and they do "Spyderco style" separations. ...

Harry , Willey Knives in Greenwood Delaware can put Spyderco style serrations on a knife for you. Sal has recommended them in the past. Call them 302 349 4070. Its inexpensive to have done.

410 , if you ever head to the Maryland or Delaware beaches you could go to Willey Knives in Greenwood, Delaware .They are an authorized Spyderco dealer and have quite of few Spydies. I have found some real gems there.

Hi Pyrite,

Welcome to the Spyderco forum.

As Unit mentioned, they are VERY hard to do. If you've not done it in the past, you will probably end up with a serration that is less than effective.

As JCP said, Willey knives does a good job.

Willey Knives Greenwood DE. does serrations. I am pretty sure they use Spydercos serration pattern. Its inexpensive to have done .
