Re: I will now EDC only SE for 6 months.

My serrated Military is the only knife I currently own. So by default it's all I carry. It began life plain edged. Sent it to Willey Knives and had them put a Spyder edge on it. Their serration pattern gives you a few more teeth on a Military than the original factory pattern. EvilD, ...

Re: Post dealer deals here.

... I still can't believe I got a bnib Caly 3 in super blue for $148 from a dealer in December of 2014! Was that a 2012 sprint run?? Anyway, thanks Willey Knives!!! I was hunting around for prices on a black 3.5 when I found their sale. Hope the link helped out a few folks. A lot of the items have ...

I am pretty sure you get around another inch of serrations going this route vs a factory serration pattern.

Re: Serrated (Aftermarket Willey Knives) Military

Glad you bumped this....I've been thinking more and more about having some knives SE'ed. However, do you know if they're able to serrate the other side of the blade instead?

Re: Spyderco Military... 7 days later

... knife as much as they do the Police model. It's a better overall knife and better suited for the "big screen" in my opinion. I sent mine over to Willey Knives in DE for a full serration job. They're recommended by Spyderco and dirt cheap for the quality of the work. $4+shipping there and back. ...

Dunno JD it was my searches here that lead me to Willey Knives. Im quite happy with this job. Considering that this is a user I'd rather not pay "custom" prices.

Thanks Ed! Any doubts I had about Willey Knives were put to rest when they called me this morning. Geri was super friendly, I will definitely visit the store next time we head out to Rehoboth Beach.

I wasn't going to mention names, but I found mine at Willey Knives. They looked legit, so I went for it. **edit, now listed out of stock there.** Very few of these were manufactured so finding one for sale from a retail store is a rare occurrence. ...

Thanks guys. You pretty much echoed my reasoning. I haven't ever sold a knife, but if I needed to, it's hard to imagine losing anything on this one...

Serrated (Aftermarket Willey Knives) Military

Thought I'd start over here. Not the best picture taker, but these two are a little better. For around $16 all together, I got a fully serrated Military! $5 or so to ship the knife to them, $4 to serrate (same price for a partial or full job), and return priority shipping. Serrated Military Incoming!

Willey Knives, $4 TOTAL! Obviously it hadn't been cleaned up yet and the worker goofed the tang just slightly, but she's a user and I don't care. I've missed my baby!

Who For Handle Scales (Military)?

So, my Military is my project knife and its off to Willey Knives for serrations. I'm thinking I'll send it to someone for scales next. Maybe just buy some and put them on myself? Does anyone do bigger body screw upgrades like I've seen in the "mods" thread in the picture forum?
