Who wants to be my personal shopper at the sale? I want Spydie bargains!

If I only had the luck of living within driving distance to the SFO. :(

Here's a couple options:

1. I see you have a Caly 3 in your sig line wish list.
2. Check out the discontinued list to see if there's anything you might regret not buying.
3. Send it to me and save your self from the burden of deciding :D

No broken tips here. I did drop a Cara Cara into a tile floor and deform the very tip, but it was nothing the Lansky and Sharpmaker couldn't take care of.

 Hmmm... A Manix may have just bumped the Caly 3 from my Christmas list.

Somewhat surprised by this as are many others it appears. Any successor to the Manix line looks to have big shoes to fill.

I am bringing this thread back to the top as I am still hoping that we might hear from Sal on this. It seems there is some definite interest in other angles among us knife knuts. Perhaps enough to warrant an optional accessory pack for the existing product. Despite my overly scrutinized crude sketch...

Call me simple, but my favorites of the year are my Delica 4s. They will see more pocket time than any of the others.

So far my coop of Byrds includes:
Meadowlark, G-10 & FRN
Meadowlark rescue
Cara Cara, G-10 & FRN
Flatbyrd
Crow

The G-10 Flight is also on my "to get" list. You will be pleased with how much knife you get for the price. Fit and finish is more than acceptable, just not as nice as a Spydie :spyder: .

I have been thinking about this little knife since I saw the proto sketch on Boker's site. Its an appealing little blade to me, & it just might be my first hawkbill.

With the handle cut-out wouldn't that be a mariner? I know it says rescue on the handle, but I thought the hole was for quicker drying in wet conditions.

Doc- The G-10 flight is on my list. Any chance we can get some photos? My only concern is that the clip seems placed low on the handle which means it will ride high in the pocket. Do you find this is the case?

I have a 3 & 4 and I like them both a lot. They are lightweight, slim and cut like crazy. I have found no real problems with the handles, the thumb ramp really helps in terms of grip. The lack of a kick does mean you have to be careful one hand closing the Centofantes. If there is a Cento 5 in the w...

How about an optional piece that fits over the existing sharpmaker base and offers 20/25 degree slots. That would presumably be the most economical way to make this possible. It could lock onto the base using pegs that fit into the rod slots. Here's my crude sketch of how it might work. http://i211....

Definitely not a sheeple friendly knife. Try a Dragonfly or maybe a Byrd Robin or even the Flatbyrd. None of them should raise eyebrows, but all are competent for opening boxes/cutting tape.

Also from Schrade a Tactical Folder Power Assist...The plastic like handles are comfy because of multiple finger grooves...but made from crap...the safety lock is another crappy device and the power assist is real junk...overall a knife not to waste one's money on. Sorry to hear you got a bad one. ...

Request: D'Allara Drop Point

I would really like to see some pictures of the D'Allara drop point in hand. And maybe some of the handles in a side view. I'm just looking for an idea of the size/thickness of the handles. Its a candidate for my list for Santa.

Thanks!
