Re: Knife Return and Customer Support- Is this normal?

If you modify the knife the warranty does not apply. Next time send it in before modding it.

Re: Chaparral LW vs. (new) BM Mini Bugout

It's also hard to find a Chap LW for sale (back-ordered just about everywhere). Help me out here! KnivesShipFree has them in stock. My BM Bugout is one of the knives in my EDC rotation. About the only things I don't like about the Bugout are the scales & the steel. The weight distribution is too bl...

The new Kershaw Lucha Butterfly knife has my interest, IF the price is around the $100 range.

Re: Swiza Swiss Pocket Knives

I debated on which tool to get years ago and went with the Spirit mainly because if weight. I was coming from a really heavy SOG and the weight was getting old. I was worried the Spirit being smaller meant it wouldn't handle hard work as well but I've beat it to death and it hasn't failed me yet. I...

Re: Opinions on benchmades serrations?

I never liked how BM serrations look like they are just added on to a plain edge blade. By that I mean the serrated cutting edges are deeper than the plain edge.

Re: Watu...AKA Lil Chokwe

Goes without saying that I am extremely excited about this one! Thanks, Spyderco, for continuing to refine and explore the possibilities for this traditional design, and for the effort involved in translating it into the realm of high-tech materials. It is also great to see continued, generous part...

Re: Watu...AKA Lil Chokwe

Glad they kept the wire pocketclip & compression-lock. Was hoping for CTS-XHP, but I'm just happy it's not S30V. Definitely on my want list.

Gransfors Bruks Hatchet. Bought it for around $60, then they got popular & the prices almost doubled. Regardless, it's a great Hatchet & worth the money.

Has it really been 16 1/2 years since the Kiwi came out?

And I always love seeing your epic Kiwi collection.

Re: Long Live The Kiwi!

I sometimes regret gifting my original jigged bone Kiwi to a good friend. But it's among his favorite knives so I do enjoy knowing it's well loved.

Re: Forum knife 2020 - model poll

Of my 2 choices I selected the Para 3 LW and the UKPK. While a Shaman in some unique blade steel sounds great to some here, I think a UKPK Forum Knife would sell more. The Shaman would be $200+ easy. The UKPK would be less expensive and our members in countries with lock restrictions could get one. ...

Re: Liner Lock Failure??

I've had one liner-lock fail on me (not a Spyderco). I was sawing through some heavy duty cardboard & when the blade became wedged in I yanked up hard. I felt the blade pop loose & begin to fold so I ceased all movement. Luckily I did not get cut. Checking the knife out later I found I could replica...

Re: The Unofficial Spyderco MERRY CHRISTMAS Thread

Spent the morning opening presents at home & our usual breakfast of Christmas themed pancakes. Late afternoon we head 15 minutes down the road to my In-laws & spend the rest of the day with them & my Sister In-laws family. Open presents & stockings, then dinner. Afterwards head home & just relax. Cu...

The torch has been passed.

So today I carried my Chaparral LW to open any presents, cut tape, etc.

How many times did I use it? - Zero, None, Nada, Zilch.
Didn't even pull it out of my pocket.

Why?
My oldest was beating me to the punch with his Para 3 LW.
