Yes I am a fan of packing the big blade! The Laredo Bowie by cold steel is a good one. I have packed a Kabar kukri blade in the past. Now I am full throttle on my new 13 and quarter inch custom reverse edge knife! ;) Guys once I get the hang of this uploading pics, I will share. :o

I tell you what. This folder is the one I am really looking forward to the most this year. The Navaja running a close second. It is funny, because I typically feel like most folders are made for nevermind politically correct(Not lawfully!)reasons, but small handed people! Was kind of beginning to mo...

I have learned to refrain from prejudging any of Mr. Schemp's designs! I am into the SD attributes of most blade designs. I shook my head repeatedly against the Kris prior to receiving one in hand(Thanks GMAN!). The Kris fell into my hand......ergos were spot on! I am definately interested in this m...

Hey I have had a love for pitbulls since I was a child. Grew up with them. I am also critical of the owners of this breed. They are wonderful pets, but need firm personality types. So I place the burden of responsibility on the owners. Love the bullies! ;)

YES! This project so needs to get done. I agree with J and Doc, cannot really add a bunch. 3.75 inch blade should be suitable for most. Neutral handle and dose of utility for general use............if need be. Will post more in this thread, but work calls! ;)

Hey guys, this will be brief. Kudos to anyone that gets off the couch and takes their personal safety......PERSONAL! I think many misconstrue the usage of a weapon and the courts. I was just involved in a case where a lady with no knife training, but strong intentions, used a knife and killed her bo...

You know guys, I feel drawn into this, regardless it will be misunderstood. Those that have a certain degree of training and experience can understand the makeup of what RGEI offers and does not. I happen to be a stickler(wow, stick'em)for footwork which transitions to superior positioning. Limited ...

I think I heard something about the eseee/Randall guys actually tested and used the Spyderco Military extensively! Based upon those along with some other designs they came up with there own. Those guys are serious users of blades and survival! I guess that means that the Millie is one bad mutha?!!!?

Laredo Bowie is a nice piece indeed. Some of you older Spyderholics know that. It is already set up to tuck in and go with the leather sheat......draw is silent! If you want to step it up even more in terms of concealing the big blade, Mike Sastre is the man. I am sure he may pop up in this thread. ...

Here, here! Yeah I train multiple grips, but deep down my backward thinking is right to me. No,it is not the end all be all, but more folks that are finding there way to the blade are beginning to find some of the advantages of edge in during a NOW moment! I would love spyderco to bring a fixed blad...
