Please pardon the sarcastic title - I couldn't resist!

I don't mind a bit, I rather encourage it!

A bit of wit goes quite nicely.

But Kind Sir, how long must one wait for this Tasman to arrive. There are things that must be cut this very day! ;)

Repair for broken FRN clip?

Is there a repair available for a broken clip on an FRN Rescue? Does Spyderco have parts, or can they (or someone else) convert it to a metal clip?

Any other suggestions?

Another vote in favour of the Native. Thanks, fishtale.

I am looking to get a Native, but am confused by the different generations, sizes, etc.
Could someone please lay it out for me?

Something like the Tasman Salt hawkbill that is coming soon, or a Merlin if I can find one.

Combo edge! I'd like to see the serrations on the pointy end of the blade, where lots of cutting strength would be, and the plain edge closer to the handle.

Just a new guys' $.02. ;)

Wow, I read 64 pages over two days. My eyes hurt. This is encouraging me to get a hawkbill to keep my Delica and Pro-Lite II company. I'm impressed with the design and imagination shown here. Any word on when the Tasman is really due to be released? I like that size - similar to the other two.

I'm new here as well.

I've owned a Delica for probably 15 years, and just got a drop-point Pro-Lite a month or so ago.
You've got a great forum here - very friendly and supportive (always encouraging to get more knives), keep it up.
