ZDP189 & Cowry X related steels ?

As you all know the burgundy Calypso has the ZDP189 steel. I noticed that Fallkniven uses a steel called Cowry X in their upgraded IDUN model. This steel has almost the same ingredients like the ZDP, as they both have 3% Carbon and 20% Chrome, even the hardness of 64 HRC is the same. The only differ...

Dyad's are quite pricey in Holland, as are almost all knives coming from the States through the official dealers, reason why more and more people are ordering these knives directly from internetshops in the States. That is also why we are selling so many German and Japanese kitchenknives to your cou...

I checked all the big Dyads C44 that my supplier has in his warehouse.
All 9 of them are made from ATS-55, not GIN-1, and have green sanded Micarta on them, :)

They consist of a flexible metal bearer material with self-adhesive back, on which small hardmetal pellets are sintered in various grit-sizes. They come in various s...

How come all these Spyderco's are so hard to find ? In Holland this is quite different; for instance our supplier has about 10 C44 Green Micarta Dyads lying on the shelf, no one in Holland wants to buy them from him. Same with the small Calypso in Micarta & AUS8; he has 8 serrated ones lying there f...
