Lately, I've started favoring knives with leaf or wharncliffe blade shapes. I'm finding them to be the most useful for me. Other than that, I tend to buy knives that I know I'll enjoy using.

I love that big/little skinner. It definitely looks like a useful design.

It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it.

Funny, I remember that quote being attributed to Al Gore last time I read a list of idiotic things people said.

Doc, The story about Target being owned by the French is nothing but an internet rumor. The company is still American owned and based in Minneapolis. I'm not sure what difference it would make in the first place. And as far as not allowing the Salvation Army to stand outside collecting money, that w...

The only thing that's kept me from buying a Moran fixed blade is the handle. Though it felt extremely comfortable, I'd prefer one with a G-10 or wood handle.

Of course, if I ever get the money I might just buy one just because

I'm curious as to why they didn't just put the rivet closest to the blade under the kraton inlay. It seems that would have been easier to do that, rather than have to cut the inlay around it.

Exchange the rubber inlay with something like Pakkawood or blue G10 and I'll buy more Stretches!

I'm with Wouter. I've handled a few Stretches, and the rubber inlay just seems to ruin the feel of the knife for me.

Is there any chance of different colored scales, like the ones on the prototype? Also, I bet this knife would look great with some natural wood scales of some sort.

J, Beautiful bird, and beautiful dog. That picture makes me feel nostalgic for the weekends my friends and I would spend hunting on a buddy's farm. I think hunting for woodcock and rabbits have to be my favorites. We did find that it's best to let woodcock get away from you a bit before you shoot, l...

Zen, I thought's that what it was. I remember looking at those stocks at one time. Shame that they cost as much as the rifle, which costs as much as it does. Guess I'll have to stick with getting an SKS to purty up. By the way, love the pics of the Temperances. I might have to pick one up before it'...

I have a hard time even eating fast food without gagging. The only place I can really stand is Arby's. Every other place, I swear I can just taste the chemicals.

I've sacrificed two to the almighty fish gods. The first was an FRN Endura, that somehow slipped out of my short's pocket while I was swinging on top of canopy of the boat I worked on. I turned around and saw it hit the side and disappear into the briny deep. I lost the second one, an FRN Delica, ab...
