I was eyeballing one of his mule versions but i think they're all gone now.
Jackson Lee (jlhawaii808 on eBay) still has some of the KR4 mule with SST20 emitters. He charges a premium, but the shipping is much faster than ordering directly from Hank.

This right here is the best folding knife ever made, paired with the best flashlight ever made. I have two of each, plus a couple of the KR1 throwers in W1 red and W2 white.

Re: Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Maxamet Edition?

Maxamet is a US steel, and the Dragonfly is a Japanese model. Although it's not a 100% across-the-board thing, US steels tend to be used in US models. To further complicate things, Maxamet is difficult to work with. They seem to consistently have problems making PM2 and Para 3 Maxamet blades, which ...

Your knife is authentic. Everything looks correct, and sprints aren't really counterfeited.

Yes. The fake DLC is extremely obvious.

Re: How do S110V and ZDP-189 Compare?

Chromium can either bond into chromium carbide or remain free. Free chromium is what contributes to corrosion resistance. How much chromium remains free is dependent on the steel's carbon content versus the other available carbide formers. S110V has a similar carbon content to ZDP-189 but has far mo...

Re: Para 2 s35vn sprint runs

There have been three runs of the satin S35VN PM2, in 2012, 2015 and 2017. There has been one run of the DLC S35VN PM2 in 2019. I don't know what 'etched in a arched format' means, but the print on the ricasso is the same on all S35VN PM2 variants. If you're referring to the print being radiused to ...

Re: Y’all like rare knives? First run Paramilitary, circa 2004.

What's the date code? I have an ED date code Paramilitary that has most of the pre-CQI features but doesn't have the larger exposed cutout on the ricasso or the 'patent pending' clip. http://www.decadecounter.com/vta/misc/paramilitaryC81GP_320.jpg I also have the D2 sprint :) http://www.decadecounte...

It's definitely real. Sprints aren't really counterfeited, much less a two month old Native sprint.

We must be watching different videos. I didn't see him do anything other than fidget with it and cut open a couple bales of hay. His editing is unremarkable.

Re: Para 3 Review. A great Youtuber with real visual and storytelling.

I commented on the first video about 3 months ago and questioned the newness of his knife. Between the chips in the blade and the wear on the pocket clip, it's obvious that either he faked the unboxing, or somebody sent him a used knife. His videos are okay I guess. Pretty typical Youtube fare...too...

Re: I Don't Get The "Spydie-Flick."

Spydieflicking absolutely does serve a practical purpose if you're left-handed and the knife's opening hole is partially occluded on the clip side (Spydiechef, Advocate, Slysz Bowie, Techno, etc.)
