Vtoku meerkat?

Rumor going around that some of the papers that came with the manbug mention a vtoku meerkat. Has anybody else come across this or any mention of it?

This is a native 5 2015 forum knife sticking out of a Colorado map at the approximate location of the Spyderco outlet factory. I bought this knife there on a motorcycle trip w...

7. FFG from thin stock

I know I know, broke the rules with the steel choice, but can't pass up suggesting the kitchen knife steel in the folding chef(ish) knife.

Re: Against the grain...

I've come to really like the laminated blades, it makes me think of hamon lines. Granted if it's too horribly uneven I'd be a bit bothered. I don't really get the deep carry clip craze unless jurisdiction demands it be hidden. I'm also unpicky about perfectly centered blades and mirror edges, as lon...

I didn't know about the date code, always fun to learn something new. My no hole is Nov 2017 (KQ).

Wrong clip on delica?

Has anyone else received a delica recently without the lanyard/pivot hole in the pocket clip? Specifically the hap40 wharnecliffe I and a few others I've seen have solid clips, like the pm2/3.

I realize it's an incredibly minor thing, just kind of curious if there was a mix up or what?

Re: Lefty-friendly knives please

Improvise, adapt, and overcome my friends. I do agree the lack of left side carry options and occluded holes is a bit disappointing, but it won't stop me from interesting knives. I'd considered whether it'd be productive to make a thread just for lefty discussion, which knives are difficult to use a...

Re: LC200N Caribbean

I think you’d be "chopping yourself up." That’s my middle finger in there. I can’t fit my index finger there. 22C06416-37C8-4E64-AF70-4E35CBCBC0C0.jpeg So normally I'd close a compression lock by letting the choil fall on my index finger (lefty). Is there enough space on the caribbean or ...

In, 2015 Forum knife is what got me interested in Spyderco to start with, I imagine this is a worthy follow up and I'm betting the pictures don't do it justice.

Re: The Spyderco Military - Discussion

Are there any millie users here who are left handed? I'm curious if it's much of a pain to use and carry left side, due to the clip or any issues with the lock disengaging (bad experience with a cheapo knife as a kid, still have liner lock trust issues. Leaning towards frame lock). I know there is a...

Re: Ideal Collaborations For Spyderco?

Leatherman. Imagine a skeletool or wave with a spyderco quality and hap40, maxamet, whatever. Or a salt series multitool. Of course I'm certain either of those would be a nightmare to make happen and/or expensive for everyone involved.
