Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

That knife is well worth $150. That's only a $24 markup, then after fees...the seller is probably only making like $10 profit. Yeah, plus don't forget lots of dealers charge state sales tax, so the seller is probably making less than that The opus and those stepped Chaparrals have been on sale fore...

The "SE" 10x triplet with LEDs is the way to go, the light helps a lot

Re: >30 degree factory bevels

Deadboxhero posted on his you tube a video that shows the sharpening and someone commented that the way spyderco does it may not necessarily but the most precise method but allows greater flexibility

The closest is the Chaparral in Raffir Noble - which is another acrylic based product

I can't get over the patterns they use for it - they all look kinda tacky to me

Found this old comment about cruwear from Vivi I found cruwear rusted just as easily as K390 for me. Neither are as bad as 1095 or O1, but cruwear is a far, far cry from a typical stainless steel here. Agreed on sharpening. Cruwear sharpens fast and easy. While K390 takes a little more grinding due ...

They are very similar. There are a few versions of A11, aside from the Micromelt A11, but they are all virtually identical. Unless someone does a cut test with these steels, it should all feel the same between 10V and A11. K390, which is supposed to be an "upgraded" A11, is the most different in co...
