They say you can’t get a decent job without education. But look at Albert Einstein – he was a drop-out and still ended up being the first man on the moon!
Yes, but his brother Frank was a monster.

Tasman Salt SE just arrived.

Nothing but SE hawkbill carry so far this year.

Nice! Have you had a chance to use it?

The titanium Meadowlark just came in today for a blade swap:

Tasman Salt SE just arrived. Nothing but SE hawkbill carry so far this year. Nice! Have you had a chance to use it? Yeah I cut some slices of cheese at break time. I've found that a hawkbill blade shape is the best when it comes to pushcutting toward your thumb. Add serrations and a hollow grind (w...

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Bento Box Shop now offers free shipping on orders over $99. So thats like saving $15. Their "free" shipping is now just baked into the price of many of their most popular models. Before the new year, a K390 PM2 was $185, and now it is $200. And whereas previously the $15 shipping charge was good fo...

Re: Spyderco Custom Shop

I think it would really hurt the exclusives and sprints. Would people flock to (and sell out in minutes) the next Blade HQ sprint with M4 and jade when people know they can just buy the same knife in M4 with any other scale color directly from Spyderco? It would tank that market. But the benefit is...

Re: Autonomy 2 SE DLC pre-purchase questions

The trick with the Plunge Lock is that it opens with so much force that you can actually over tighten the pivot and it'll still fire reliably, so you can easily dial out every bit of blade play without sacrificing the opening action. I really wish Spyderco would expand on the auto lineup and use th...

Re: Spyderco Custom Shop

This idea of a custom shop has come up many times here before. I agree it would be a neat idea but Spyderco has made it clear that they are not interested in pursuing it.

Re: The best thing about a knife is ...

What are you even talking about jdw? For goodness sake, all he did was relate an interesting tidbit of history about how a guy saved his life with a knife. That's it.

There's no hate here, subtle or otherwise.

On a side note - how do you pronounce Brouwer? Brow, like eyebrow or Brew, like coffee?
I've always heard it pronounced the former. (Brow as in eyebrow)
