10 DPS with 15 DPS microbevel? Just guessing. Can LC200n comfortably support such acuity? Still anxiously awaiting your experience and review of the Siren.
I've run similar geometry on my LC200N Autonomy 2 and it has held up fine.

Re: The perceived need for instantaneous one hand operation has driven folding knife design into a dead end

I don't know, isn't the idea of one-hand operation sort of what Spyderco is founded on? Far from stifling innovation, it seems to me that it has driven some of the most innovative designs and features in knives. I like slip joints too, but I prefer one-handed operation for a work knife. I don't need...

Re: New Members

Maybe we need a New Members pinned thread ? Introduce yourself, where you’re from, tell us about your first & your most recent Spydies etc? This might not be a bad idea. It’s disappointing to hear that the Forum doesn’t come across as friendly as it really is. I think PineyBoy is in the minority he...

Re: I think I caught SE fever

Before this thread loses steam I will reiterate that in order to be convinced of the great cutting capacity of the Spyderedge you absolutely have to seriously test drive at least a couple of Spyderco's SE models to get a serious feel for those serrated blades. Using is believing when it comes to Sp...

Re: New Members

Ok, my opinion time: I have been a member of many, many forums over many years. I've been here a very short time and only joined because I've spent $1000+ on Spyderco knives and thought I should check it out. Very disappointing. Friendly...I don't think so. In fact almost, if any, response to a new...

Re: Imperfect tri-stones on Sharpmaker

The are some bumps on my UF stone flats that will chip an edge if I try sharpening on them. Luckily, there's at least 1 side to each UF rod that is perfectly smooth so I just marked the smooth sides and only sharpen on those.

Re: Spyderco 2020 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

The message it would send if this were a single run, would be a huge middle finger to collectors and fans. They can't pretend they don't know what the demand will be like. They know factory seconds of their Para 3 have sold on Ebay for $700+ dollars . They basically have to do multiple runs of this...

Knife Works has more of their 600pc sprint/exclusive Delica S90V available.

This has "sold out" multiple times. Maybe they're just releasing these in small batches.
Or they are doing multiple runs. Exclusives can be re-run as often as the dealer wishes to buy them.

Kristi, I apologize if any of my posts in that thread crossed the line. Re: Production Cruwear and 4V

I'm guessing all runs aren't created equal? Also with my use across 2 different models and having similar results, I'm sticking to what I've personally experienced. Furthermore, from all the tests done so far it appears that Spyderco has been running their CPM 4V closer to 65+ HRC. This is why I'd ...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

Yes, I appreciate H-1 for what it is, but my experiences with it seem to contradict the mainstream consensus regarding edge performance. Is your Pacific Salt ground at 15 or 20 degrees? All my user Pacific 1's seemed to be 15, but a NIB backup I have, and my Pacific 2's, are ground at 20. It's at 1...
