Re: Respect Bowie short feedback

Welcome Davidzhs, great to have you as part of the group! You picked an excellent first Spyderco and I am sure you will not be disappointed with it. I have several folders but no fixed blades as of yet. All my knives were delivered in flawless condition and as I have learned with Spyderco, this is t...

Re: Your Username...why did you choose it?

Most people around here are very polite. Whenever I meet someone or go somewhere and interact with folks they either call me Sir, or Mr. (Surname). I always say, "That's my Dad, I'm just John".

Re: Cuts

I have 13 Spyderco Knives, and have been cut with 8 of them. Some superficial and some a little deeper. Non were intentional mind you, but I now have a "special" bond with the ones that have drawn my blood. That's what I keep telling myself anyway.....

Outstanding question Left Hand Path, I never even thought about it until now. Murdoc, thank you for the excellent pictures you posted, and the supporting documentation. It has been an education for me indeed. I have learned a great deal about knives from the folks on this forum and I am grateful. Th...

Well, well, well; yet another example of a sociological experiment validating what we already know. C'mon people, read between the lines. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Re: Done with Zero Tolerance

I have an older ZT0562 G10/Ti and have had absolutely zero issues. The SV35N takes a wicked sharp edge with little effort. It's a tank it is! I prefer Spyderco due to all of the above stated reasons and I feel they are still the best value for the buck. That being said it all comes down to "Differen...

Ztax, I am experiencing the "Due to fraud,..." issue also. I have also advised Tech Support. This problem is indeed frustrating and in the interim I have been calling in my orders until the issue is resolved. Hang in there, it will get better!

"CRKT offers a Military/First Responder discount of 25%." My bad, when I said that I should have clarified Military to include Retirees also. Sorry Crux and anyone else who may have been affected.

Re: Advice? Para 3 - Arrested in NYC

My 2 cents worth: DISCLAIMER...I AM NOT A LAWYER, OR PRESENTLY A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER! When in doubt, don't let the clip hang out. A law enforcement officer must be able to articulate "probable cause" (in the absence of a warrant) to a judge. Failure to do so should ultimately result in rendering...

Re: The CRKT Provoke

CRKT offers a Military/First Responder discount of 25%. Create an account then go to their Support Section. Send them your CRKT Account username and a "sanitized" copy of your Military/First Responder ID Card. They will let you know when your account has been updated to reflect he discount. I am not...

Yes indeed rgrad80 , "You always have a choice". Not to ruffle any feathers but you can choose quality products (which comes at a price), or you can choose the economy products. That being said, I own a Shaman and it is probably the best knife I have ever used! I have no doubt this knife will outlas...
