Re: CBB vs Axis Lock operation tips

How do and welcome aboard John! I have an early version of the Manix 2XL and have discovered it is one fine knife. Larger folders appeal to me and this is exactly that, a large, appealing folder. Take care and chime in often.

Re: Forum knife for 2019?

I think a Manbug with a cruwear blade, black carbon fiber scales, and a wire clip would be the perfect 2019 Forum Knife. I'd be down for a handful myself! :D

Shout-Out to Candy...SFO

I placed a phone order for two Spyderco Knives today and had the pleasure of speaking with Candy. She is very knowledgeable and proficient. Her personality is upbeat, and she makes you feel comfortable instantly. It was a pleasure doing business with her (Spyderco). Keep up the GREAT job Candy!!!

Re: Cleaning G 10 scales?

I agree with JD Spydo. Ballistol works great on G-10 scales in addition to a myriad of other things. I have been using the stuff for the last 8 years with no issues whatsoever. The bigger can of Ballistol will be the best value for you. A little goes a long way so you will have enough for your entir...

Re: Cruwear What is the problem?

I don't think Spyderco got to where they are (TOP DOG IMHO) by making the wrong business decisions. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and desires, but the aroma of self-righteous indignation is starting to permeate some of these posts. And now back to the regularly scheduled programming. :D

I too recommend the Sharpmaker. If the job requires more extensive measures I use my KME guided sharpening system. Both of these sharpeners have never failed me.

I would buy 2. The one I already have is the ZDP-189 version and it is a great little cutter.

Re: Curiosity....What handgun do you carry????

A Glock Model 36, .45 Auto. I use Ruger .45 ACP ARX 114 grain ammo with a muzzle velocity of 1350 fps. My backup is a Spyderco Manix 2 XL with an average thrust velocity (me) of approximately 1 lb. If both weapons fail to produce the desired results I resort to the pair of New Balance Model 666 I'm ...

Re: Next Reveal is due when?

Just my $0.02 here, but maybe we should chill and let Spyderco do it's thing. Mr. Glesser solicits inputs and regularly reviews the forum feedback. There is no doubt he is well ahead of the curve. To my limited knowledge he is the only knife manufacturing company co-founder that gets actively involv...
