Re: Vanax PM2 Lets Do This!!!

No more PM2s, please. I'm all for Vanax. But, I'm over the PM2. There are enough variants to arm half the country. :D

Re: Salt Dyad interest ???????????????????????????????

For the record, the grey G-10 Dyad can be taken apart and reassembled as lefty, very easily. Thanks SDG. :) Yeah, I remember we had a chat about this possibility a couple of years ago: https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=79554&p=1240610&hilit=Dyad#p1240610 At the time, I think you though...

Re: Where do you grip large knives with a choil?

99% No Choils, thanks.

The only models I can think of that have choils that I like(tolerate) are the Dodo, Dragonfly and Kapara.

Otherwise, TO THE GALLOWS!

(Also, I do like the way the Military's choil is executed. Very shallow, with a smooth transition from the main handle.)

Re: Post up your Rit dye projects..

If I wanted to dye the LC200N Pacific Salt to a deeper green, which color would you guys recommend? Haven't used RIT in years and I've only ever done black. I want something like OD green or Foliage green, because based on pictures the green they're using is a little bright for my tastes. Maybe a q...

Re: Caribbean vs Manix 2

I still say that the Caribbean, Autonomy 2 and now Rock Jumper are the best designed handles Spyderco has offered. While I do love a choil, there is just something about how these two feel in hand (no Rock Jumper yet). I wish Sal and the Spyderco team would do more with this handle design, now that...

Re: Salt Dyad interest ???????????????????????????????

Interesting discussion. Today I carried a Dyad with dual compression locks. Delica size. It has two humped blades with 12mm opening holes. If we make a knife humpless, then the handle has to be wider and sometimes the opening becomes more difficult. If we make the blades humpless with smaller holes...

Re: Help Needed

Yes, I've known families that have lost everything to a house fire. God bless them and you for thinking of them. It's hard to think about, but it happens. Thank you for your thoughts aswell. Also, thank you everyone here for your kindness. It really means a lot to me, to be able to help others and ...

I have been looking for a Maddox for a long time. That is one tough knife to find. I found one a while back. But, they were asking like $500 for it. Hehe, no.

Re: 12 reasons why the Delica is better than the Native

Maybe if the handle ergos weren't as awful, I'd agree. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of either anymore.

The Rockjumper is going to beat them both by MILES, in my book.

Lil’temperance 3 is $115 right now an Amazon. Seems to be from a reputable seller but as always caveat emptor. Great little tank of a knife and absolutely love mine.
Don't sleep on this deal!

I just got mine(a bit cheaper than this) and it is a fantastic little knife. It's a baby Caribbean.

Re: Help Needed

Thank you very much. Anything raised will surely be appreciated.

I've been fortunate enough to never have to go through anything like this. But, I know it won't be easy.

There will always be a light at the end of the tunnel, though.

You know, I have never received a Spyderco for Christmas. I prefer to give gifts, so I've never asked. I just buy them as I want them throughout the year. My Christmas wish is to make others smile, that's plenty for me. Still counts if you buy it for yourself :D I've gotten a lot of nice spydies on...

Help Needed

First, let me appologize for the intrusion. If this isn't allowed, I understand. Today, I learned that a very old friend of mine lost both his grandmother and home to a fire on 09/20/2020. To make matters worse, it seems they had no insurance on the home and are facing some very serious challenges a...
