Re: Jimping poll

I like jimping, aggressive or soft. Traction is traction

But, not having it isn't a dealbreaker.

The answer to this question is yes, you definitely need one.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

I jusy received my Lil' Temp 3 and it is a seriously solid knife. Blade is about the same length as a Delica with about 1/4" longer edge, but almost twice as thick and mich wider. A bit stiff compared to my PM2 where the blade swings more or less freely on lock engagement, but still feels great and...

I much prefer the dent, as it has a function, which works as intended on me and my fat finger webbing.

Ugh, linerless is the bane of my existence in the knife world. Just, no.

Re: What happened with the mantra?

I have the 1&2, can't speak for the 3.

The original is one of my all time favorites. Fantastic knife, awesome steel and great handle. It's really the "perfect" Delica.

I've been thinking of deleting the flipper tab.

Re: LC vs. LV

I've been turning some shaving brush handles lately, both in Bocote and Lignum Vitae woods. Bocote is a hard waxy wood, but Argentine Lignum Vitae is ridiculously hard and has enough resin that it resists water without any treatment. The way I turn my handles leaves me to part the finished piece of...

Re: Any love for the Kiwi 4?

Like always, bring it back with a contoured handle and I'm in even if it's plain old stainless, it just needs to be contoured this time around and if it's G10 it needs to be polished. I'll agree. Although I'll counter that suggestion with contoured linen micarta. Like always, bring it back with a c...

Re: Straight Spine Stretch XL FRN Color Poll

I like the foliage green with a black blade, or FDE. Burnt Umber might be nice. https://www.solidbackgrounds.com/images/2732x2732/2732x2732-burnt-umber-solid-color-background.jpg That is not taupe on that chart, as any artist or clothing designer or painter can affirm. https://www.macmillandictiona...

Re: how are sales figures for the spyderco parata?

All the Japanese folders with G-10 are/were overpriced and there are now fewer and fewer as many have been discontinued. The Chinook4 with S30V and G-10 made in Japan is $241.50! Which is sad. Because, some great G10 knives have come out of there. I'm really enjoying the Lil Temp 3. I just wish it ...
