My own CQI :) well visually anyway. Bocote scales made by a instrument maker friend of mine. https://i.postimg.cc/tTBvgWFb/Ikuchi-Bocote-open.jpg That is gorgeous, Larry! Once I get everytjing settled down here, I've got several scales in Koa ready to be finished and a block of Kamagong waiting to ...

I think the spyderhole is the best in regards for deploying a knife but mine has orange rust specks in it (vg10) is this normal?
Take a bit of mineral oil and rub it on it, it should come right off.

Re: Delica, Endura, Endela BlackOut Edition

Personally, I wouldn't buy a coated one(unless it was PVD Purple). As for S30V vs VG-10, I'd choose VG-10 100% of the time. To me, it performs way better in the field than S30V. S30V is nice, but the edge retention isn't enough to overcome VG-10's sharpening response. I've passed on knives because ...

My theory on why the Lil Native Backlock is not more popular than the comp lock is the clip....
I would have to agree with this.

I really am growing to prefer the wire clip. I still like the spoon clip, but on a small knife the wire clip is especially nice.

Re: Smock at DLT

I'd try the Smock if there was a sprint.

Personally, I would choose a Salted Kapara.

Either way, dreams can come true!

Dang, wish I could just buy the hank. So do I. There's nothing that I have to have right now, so I am unable to get the hanky! >:( grab a lanyard, that's what i did. Maybe so, I didn't think about the little accessories. Most of my cash is earmarked for building materials, i might be able to sneak ...

Re: Sal, question about GITD FRN

I love my GITD! Not so much the Delica, but I'm all for full production GITD(Especially a Jester SE)!

It's really nice to be able to see your knife on the nightstand, without a light.

Re: Exclusive Delica - Carbon Fiber with HAP40/SUS410

I just know it was supposed to be here on Saturday, it's now Tuesday and it's back in NY. My sister-in-law lives in Rochester, not that it does me any good! Edit: Sent the picture to my father and he replied "Must've missed that left in Albuquerque!" I laughed WAY too hard at that... now I'm cleanin...

Re: SE for cutting CPVC

Hi everyone, new to the forum, somewhat new to Spyderco. I deal with a lot of CPVC piping for work, I service fire protection sprinkler systems. My usual tool for cutting this pipe is a hackzall, but pipe hidden in ceilings sometimes doesn't have space for me to fit the hackzall in. There's also th...

Mantra: Long Term Review and Thoughts

The Spyderco Mantra was an incredible surprise for me. I purchased it during the discontinued sale in 2018, for the sole purpose of trading it later on. I am not a fan of flipper tabs and don't care for frame locks either(although they've grown on me). This shouldn't be my knife! Chapter 1: When it ...

Re: Rock Jumper Thread

I respect any musician with talent, regardless of genre.
Unfortunately, there is a serious lack of it in todays musical industry.

As for the knife, I can't say. But, you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be looking for it at Blade Show this year!
