Re: Wharncliffe's

Love wharncliffes! Probably my favorite blade shape. Just for clarity, are you describing a grind similar to this? https://i.imgur.com/i88l6Np.png (Picture from Miltner-Adams) I think it would be more like a chisel grind, with one side being a high hollow and on the other half, instead of being com...

Re: Wharncliffe's

I love a flat edge on smaller knives, especially. A high hollow/ffg hybrid sounds very interesting.

Re: Spyderco’s best kept secret

The JM2 looks like a perfect truck knife. One of these days I'm going to break down and get one. What I REALLY [/b] want to see is a Rock Salt 2 in LC200N. Make it heavier at the tip and maybe a bit bigger. The ultimate mini machete. That would be SWEEET! :D Been hoping for this as well... We can d...

https://i.imgur.com/KKjqpuF.jpg For those who like a little bit of knife on their dirt. :D LOL! :D Yeah, that was after a day of making soil mixtures and repotting my chilli pepper plants! My Tasman Salt’s the only other knife I’d treat that way. ;) That's how I treat my Caribbean. It's the designa...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

I picked up the Mario 3D All Stars so I could play through them all with my nephew. Since he's a little young to do everything himself, I've been doing the missions for the stars and letting him be the one to collect the stars. Easing him into the controls while making him feel accomplished. It's b...

Re: Spyderco's Designated "Beaters"

The Caribbean is the answer. :D The Caribbean and Autonomy both are on my priority list for new SE units to add to my User arsenal. I'm hoping I can snag a couple of used units to save a little dough. And I also agree with VASH about the Spyderhawk being an ideal folder for hard use jobs. I've sure...

I'm getting flashbacks from back when channels went off the air at night.

Almost headache inducing, it's so busy.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

Used Military to clean the frames. HAHAHAHA! It took me a good couple of seconds to realize that I was looking at a beehive frame getting cleaned up and not something... else... I was like, "Oh snap! Is it that kind of shindig?". :D :p Carried my Spin for the first time in years. It freed some barb...
