Re: Powerlock Manix XL

As long as it retains steel liners, I'm in. That's where they lost me on the M2 Backlock. It would be great to have this knife back in the "proper" configuration. ;)

Although, my knife fund seems to be constantly getting mugged lately.

Re: Steel cracks from cutting hair

2T WILL RISE AGAIN! More power, less weight, fewer parts and a whole lot more chest hair!(Lol) What kind of man is looking for an engine with less weight? More weight, more noise, more chest hair! Check out these pictures of the largest two cycle engine I've ever owned. It's a Victory Oil Motor bui...

Re: Steel cracks from cutting hair

Also, if anything does happen, I can disassemble an RD400 on the side of the road with the included tool kit. Good luck doing that with your new R1, when it breaks. Starts in one kick, but you need to rebuild it on the side of the road? Hmmm... Don't feel bad. I had a lot of fun on two-cycle bikes,...

Re: Steel cracks from cutting hair

This thread is most interesting and I do believe that there is a lot of information that us "Sharpening fanatics" can learn from this video. However recently a lady friend of mine shared something with me that she said one of her old teachers from the cosmetology school she got her training at shar...

Re: BaliYo - Titanium edition?

As long as it’s a fully premium baliyo, absolutely. When I had mine (I’ve had two and managed to break both lol) I had problems with the pen opening mid flip and one of the arms fully came off on the first one. Like, let’s do it. But with an updated build. Parker refills (or something else standard...

Re: Is my Para 3 Maxamet legit? (Photos)

I will buy the 4 sided diamond stone next week. Thanks for your advices. This is what I have here. That thing is not good, for any knife, especially for a high carbide steel. Use a sharpmaker or some bench stones to properly sharpen it and give it a good enough edge, if not you'll be very frustrate...

Re: Manix 3

I've been thinking about the Manix series a lot the past few weeks. My M4 XL and foliage green C95 have been dominating my pockets this month, aside from carrying Salts to work. https://i.postimg.cc/XqTgfzGq/20201021-164909-HDR.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/YSXsxXS0/20200720-174923-HDR.jpg I've been thi...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

Used my Kiwi to slice up some fruit at lunch. Other than that, I was just driving. Used my C95 to baton some fatwood and spark a ferro rod to start a fire. Then carved some marshmallow roasting sticks. https://i.postimg.cc/j2Kgwj92/20201021-182639-HDR.jpg I picked up the Mario 3D All Stars so I coul...
