Re: The perceived need for instantaneous one hand operation has driven folding knife design into a dead end

...Other than gimmicks, I really don't see any great revolutionary changes that can be made to knife design. This is mainly what I took away from Michael’s original post. And I agree. I don’t know what or when the next big innovation will be. But I am sure when it happens, all of us will say to our...

Re: Swayback

Mine makes a rattling sound, any idea? Normally I would think lanyard tube. But this one doesn’t have one. Next guess would be one of the internal stop pins. This model has two. Maybe one is just a hair too short. A very small dab of grease on the end of the stop pins could possibly help quiet it. ...

Re: New Members

I lurked for almost a year before I registered. It was a giveaway that pushed me to do it. So I get where people are coming from. I only registered/posted to win a knife. It does seem shady looking back and actually saying it out loud. But I did register, and have been coming back almost everyday fo...

DLC Bradley. Voted GB1 or 2. But literally any Bradley model would suffice. Imagine a Junction in DLC M4 with jade grips. We need some fixed blade exclusives.

Read all so far.

2nds Mystery boxes.

My idea would be random knives in a box

$200 per box + shipping. Limit 2 boxes per order.
No returns.

Sold online via Spyderco

Gives us Overseas guys a go......And how cool are mystery boxes.
I would absolutely love this!

Re: Renegade sprint run?

I really like the idea of offering a clip point/worker shape native. I did own a Blackhawk for a bit. But I couldn’t get past the chamfered thumb hole. Too many slips when opening. So I let it go. So if there ever is a sprint, I hope the thumb hole is not chamfered.

Re: SNK Native 5 G10

I’ll add my name to the Millie wishlist. But would be awesome to see something from Taichung too. They demonstrated that they can handle 4V just fine with the Province. Would also be cool to see a DLC 4V fixed blade exclusive. That would get my attention too.

nice! the wolfspyder gets less sightings than bigfoot.
Thanks ladybug! You’re right about that. But since it’s a UK based collaborator, wouldn’t that make it a “Nessie” sighting? ;) :D :spyder:

Re: Hypothesis For Swayback's Pocket Clip

I have no issues with the stock clip. But out of curiosity I tried my only two other Taichung spoon clips. Advocate’s and GB2’s. They both fit perfect. But the GB2 is coated. One could strip and stone wash that one if they wanted. Anyways, pics. The clips are shaped differently and are different len...

Re: DLT 20cv manix in stock

From the listing in DLT website: “We have now received the last few of these knives that will be made. After these sell out this knife will be retired and not produced again.” Now or never! Yep, that's how they suckered me in, that and the excellent price. I’d jump on this. Probably the best deal a...

What color did you use on the scales? Looks great!
Thanks JuPaul! I used Rit dye-more Tangerine. It’s really close to the Hap40 burnt orange. My office’s lights didn’t do it much justice.
