Please see my post at the end of the original thread and look for the new thread to continue (on the right track of course). Closing it wasn't an easy decision. Certainly, not one that I took lightly.

Thank you Kristi.

Re: Cutting boards

Unapologetically I haven't even googled this. What cutting board are you using and why? Which cutting boards wear on blade edges the least? Honestly, I started this thread with concern over wear on blade edge. Its interesting to me that this has morphed into sanitation. I probably wasnt specific en...

A tribute to "Crazy deals @ ......"

Well, it was a good run. 204 pages. Too bad it just couldn't stay on the tracks. I loved having all the sales/deals posted in one thread. Maybe after some time there will be a new one started or the old one can be unlocked.

Farewell old friend.

Re: Sal, Can we get CPM 15v?

Rex 121 will out cut both. 15v and Maxamet could be more competitive with each other depending on the hardeness and how they are sharpened and tested. Maxamet runs harder than 15v. 15v can get close to Maxamet's hardness. 15v had more Vanadium carbide and slightly more volume. Maxamet is mixed with...

Re: Byrd Hawkbill

Got my first ever Byrd in the mail today. The Hawkbill. Great value for a Spyderedge Hawk. Can't wait to put it to use! How about a Spyderhawk sized Byrd???????? THAT would be amazing! My Spyderhawk is the only knife I have a backup of. I would love to see the H1 SE Spyderhawk as a production knife...

EDC prybar

I try to minimize the amount of stuff in my pockets. It's very easy for it to get out of control, but I've been curious of these mini prybars. For those who carry them, how often do you use it?

Yeah, it’s too bad. I wonder if he’d join under another user name?

I often see an article and think “SEF would like this.”
Even if he came back with an alias he would out himself with his first post. SEF is very unique. I loved reading his stuff because I couldn't predict where it was going.

Re: Slide cut for reflex sight

My worthless 2 cents. I hunt archery elk, rifle deer and various small game/birds; I always carry a G20. 15 rounds 700+ ft lbs of 220 grain hard cast (Underwood Ammo). We have lots of cats and bears in the PNW, wolves are becoming the new hotness too. If you want an optics ready 10mm Glock, I would ...

Love the manix XL.

round off the edges of the handle (Shaman handle treatment).
Its a long shot, but I would actually like to see this done to the majority of Spyderco's lineup.

Re: lc200n production

There have been a few posts about lc200n and galvanic corrosion. I dont have any insider information, but I have a feeling Spyderco is trying to figure this out before full production. Testing takes time and it might be as simple as the liners, lock bar, or screws.

Back lock Lock rock

Its almost fun to have your child say three times fast. I have a couple of back lock spyderco's. They all have some lock rock to some degree. I dont have any Golden made ones. I also have never really compared them to other manufactures. What are your issues with "lock rock"? Is it safety, anal rete...

Re: Spyderco Sheepsfoot Blades: Likes, Dislikes and Favorite Models?

I love sheepsfoot, especially in SE. I've been coveting the Caribbean in that configuration since it was introduced. I just haven't pulled the trigger. I don't know what I've been waiting for. My gut says its the scales.
