Re: Slysz Bowie review - some of my thoughts and practical use

elena86, that would be tough call to choose just one. However I'd probably go with Slysz Bowie for just one reason, which is VERY important to me and probably less for many users from US, especially in TX, FL, CA, AZ and other states with hot weather. Here in central Europe we have 4-5 months of win...

Re: Slysz Bowie review - some of my thoughts and practical use

Actually I didn't find it too bad, more or less large Sebenza 21 level and surely easier for my hand than small Sebenza or Strider SnG-CC (the one with nicely contoured handle as well). For me it's a good compromise between strength and low-profile of EDC. If I'd need something more substantial in m...

Slysz Bowie review - some of my thoughts and practical use

Well... I've been carrying and using this folder for a good couple of months now... in winter, spring and now in summer-like weather. Mountains, fields and forests. Some of my thought below... BTW, I've got two now, one at home and another one as 'backup EDC' in my wooden cabin (so I'm never without...

Re: S30V Techno? Spyderco has some explaining to do.

The change could have been better communicated, that is clear and true. But... I've got Techno in XHP and also Burch in S30V. Quite similar in blades size (about 2.5" each). Well, the dufference in realnuse and edge retention is virtually zero. Both XHP ans S30V with Spyderco heat treatment provide ...

Re: If You Own Both a Slysz Techno and a Slysz Bowie ...

Got both. Techno is perfect urban EDC (at least for me) but Slysz Bowie... man, it's just so versatile knife! For urban carry, in the field, to the camp etc. I'm die-hard Sebenza user and the Bowie is in my opinion finally the true "Spyderbenza", superb all-round EDC: http://www.pmgallery.pl/pmhosti...
