Re: Army ROTC Knife

Make sure you check the regulations on size before you buy. If the Caribbean is too big my second pick for a folder is the Salt 2 in black. BLUETYPEII, Would you rather have a Salt 2 in H1 or a Native Salt in LC200N? I would think the LC200N would be better, so I've been leaning toward the Native S...

Re: Army ROTC Knife

i’ve heard from people in the service that there are some really strict rules about blade length on bases and in some workplaces. most of the suggestions in here could end up confiscated. i wouldn’t get anything longer than 3” just to be safe. i know places will only allow 2.5” though. maybe go wit...

You won’t be disappointed.
Great point! The look can be polarizing, but it's made to WORK!

Re: Army ROTC Knife

Thanks gentlemen! I definitely wouldn’t have thought about the Manix. I love mine, but thought it either wouldn’t be large enough or the tip would be too fragile. Good to know it’s getting multiple votes! And thanks for weighing in on the weight. I guess that’s why the Military is so light!

Re: Shot Show 2019

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46jvbaLFLgQ I love how Paul takes up about 2/3rds of the video! The Parata looks great with the Stop Lock. He explains and shows that it swings free like an Axis lock, but it truly ambidextrous! I'd love to handle one. I wish the price point was a little lower on it ...

I’d love to get a Shaman, but have been holding back for this exact copy! I’ve loved my Cruwear CF Manix 2, so I’ve wanted more Cruwear and I’ve been longing ...

Army ROTC Knife

Forumites, My boss' son just got accepted into the ROTC program at a local University and is awaiting hearing back on getting into the Naval Academy. I just saw Sal recommending the Salt 2 for a sailor (although I was thinking the Carribean or Native Salt), but if he goes into the Army, what knife w...

I love the idea! How thin behind the edge do you think they could/would make it?

Cool, I'm looking to get a Shaman sprint or exclusive, and Cruwear/micarta is the only one Sal has let slip so far.
This will be a must buy for me!

Re: 2018 Discontinued List

Veterans,
So I can know for context, is this a one and only time allowed MSRP price drop? Or will dealers still continue to drop price to get rid of stock? I'm contemplating on making a Paul Alexander collection!!! :D

Just got a Sliverax yesterday and it will be replacing my PM2 as primary edc. So much blade in such a small package.
Absolute truth in both regards. I carry the Sliverax way more than my PM2 or my M2 in CF & Cru-Wear. Hats off to Mr. Alexander for the amazing design!

Re: Why do you carry a knife?

This weekend we were shooting sporting clays. At the second stand the lead just falls out of the end of the pencil. The two other guys looked up at me, I took out my maroon S90V forum native, a few strokes off the end and we have a roughly but effectively sharpened pencil once again. We were back i...

The native salt in lc200n might fit the bill for a smaller knife in lc200n. Hopefully it's out soon.
My thoughts exactly!

Thanks for the awesome knife Micheae!
