Re: What would you purchase?

I play this game all the time and it's my favorite. depends on if you have your eye on 1 expensive knife or multiple less expensive knives. do any of the newer spyderco releases catch your eye? which specific models did you have in mind or are you interested specifically in the models you listed in...

What would you purchase?

If you had ~$100 to spend on Spyderco knives, what would you purchase? Would you put it all towards one knife and get something like a Manix or PM2 or would you spend it between a couple knives like a Dragonfly and Centofante? There are so many awesome models to choose from, How would you spend your...

I can also see a nod to the Native in the blade shape you chose! Looks awesome man, congrats!

Re: Who would be in for a Cruwear/Carbon Fiber Millie?

I would like this combo on some different models, but the Millie is just too big for me.

Re: Something new is coming soon.

I don't understand why there's a Manix 2 lightweight but not a Paramilitary 2 lightweight. An FRN compression lock would be fantastic. Compression lock knives require double steel liners, therefore simply replacing G-10 with FRN wouldn't be such a great improvement. For me its not really an "improv...

Yes we can! Not trying to derail the thread, but of curiosity, what would be your choice for a Chaparral sprint?

Re: 2017 - Lightweight/FRN Chaparral

Also, still really hoping to see this platform used for some sprints. I thought I had read somewhere that Sal developed the Chaparral series to showcase different handle materials much like the Sage series was developed to showcase different locking mechanisms. Not sure if this would mean there cou...

Re: 2017 - Lightweight/FRN Chaparral

I do like the idea of using a texture like the Urban. Agree that the "grid" pattern on the slippies is hard to beat I totally agree, the grid pattern on my Urban provides just the right amount of grip without being too overbearing for light tasks. I’m sure we will be happy with whatever Spyderco ch...

Re: 2017 - Lightweight/FRN Chaparral

Do we have any idea what the pattern will be on the FRN? I love the bi-directional texturing but on a gents folder like this I wouldn't mind something smoother, say something like the Centofante 3 or even the Urban/Pingo/Spy-DK.

I like the sound of these two! I'll also add linerless contoured G10 Native 5 with a wire clip and Cruwear or LC200N steel!

I would love to see a picture of those scales!

I hope this thread gets noticed by the Spyderco staff and we could see what they think about the possibility of a sprint..

Re: Bradley Air Sprint?

I always think if they put a wire clip on it they could appeal to both parties because people who want a clip would have it and people who don't would be able to take it off..

What difference would there be in cost if this was made in XHP vs the original M4?

Re: Bradley Air Sprint?

It sounds like if this knife had a few changes (G10/micarta scales, stainless steel, wire pocket clip, stronger detent) it would be a good seller! I could get on board with a knife like that!

Bradley Air Sprint?

I have really fallen in love with this knife and think it would be cool if they would re-release it as a sprint. If it had a steel like CTS-XHP and G10 or FRN handles it could bring the cost down to a more user friendly price. Anyone think this would gain traction or would it be a bust? Other sugges...
