Re: St. Nick's 4v pm2!

Just currious; are the SNK red scales the same as the DLT ones? Forgot about this one. I was planning on getting one, but guess it wasn't that important. Same here Pete, middle of the day on a Saturday and we had great weather here, vs a rainy week ahead. I was busy outside. Was actually hoping to s...

Re: I want a Sage 5 in a premium steel!!!

At this point, going into the 6th Sage if/when that happens, it would just seem against tradition to go and change the steel. Lock type and materials used is plenty fun enough to differentiate the models. I love trying all kinds of steels, but changing it on this series just seems wrong imo. I get ...

K390 R.I.L. with micarta, no? Although with partial liner, not sure if that would work.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Great pic! And: Are those Micarta-scales?! TeroTuf from Fireside. I do have some maroon micarta scales from other maker, but not too crazy about them. These are much better. Very nice! (No secret that I like that kind of knife pics... ;) ) Thanks. No secret I like these type of places.

Re: Please talk me into a military or para military

At some point, the knife either works for you or it doesn't. Both price point, but more importantly, during use. No point in talking someone into something they don't really want. In terms of a knife being worth the $150+? Well, that depends. Most of us are not knife rocket surgeons. Almost any knif...

Re: Delica vs UKPK

If I could keep all my other knives, and had to get rid of either both of my UKPKs or both of my Delicas, I would keep the UKPKs.

One hand opening and closing slip-joint, what's not to like. Modern design, that takes me back to simpler times

I will definitely try for this one. Steel I don't yet have, and I am ready for another DLC PM2. Only have one.

Re: Change of opinion on CBBL

I am typing this, as I am sitting here by my computer, with my dry ashy hands from all the washing, playing with my KC LW XHP, the dedicated office knife. Yes, the G10 Manix has changed my opinion about CBBL. A combination of smother action of the cage in the liners, and added grip of the G10, broug...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

:p Not a bad idea, but I´d still prefer the genuin Chap (in another steel for you!! ;) ).. virtually the same edge length as the Native , but in a not only thinner, but also shorter package that for me personally even has better ergos than the Native... (more stable in hand for some reason) But it ...

Re: Native 5 Liners/Washers?

Okay, what lube are you using? I've just tried two different lubes, after cleaning the internals with isopropyl alcohol each time before applying each lubricant. I tried loosing the pivot a bit off of finger tight. My N5 Salt is still much stiffer than my REX45 G10. BM blue. At some point, maybe it...

Re: Stretch 2 sprint run

Stretch is a good design. Glad it is an option for me, in this size. With the more neutral end of the handle, Stretch probably works better for bigger hands. The top of the ramp is a bit uncomfortable. I will have to file it down at some point. This will probably hurt a bit Wartstein, the PM2 has a ...
