Re: Straight Spine Stretch

I like mine more than I thought I would. Enough where if it was to get the K390 treatment, I would definitelly get another one.

Thank you. I’ll now wait for my next Caribbean.

CQI without a naming distinction is a flawed idea, methinks.
Common problem in various products. Drives me nuts!

If you know there is a newer model that you want, best to call it in and verify before placing the order.

Well, since we already saw the G10 version of this knife, I will wait and try for that one.

Re: Unpopular opinions

Many of the new compression lock models would be better suited with a backlock or liner lock. All LW models should have a deep carry wire clip, especially if there is already a G10 version with the spoon. The PM2 LW with a deep carry wire clip should be Spydercos #1 priority. Spyderco kitchen knive...

It is fun to make a knife your own. This is the KC exclusive Paramilitary 2 Cruwear (C81GPCW2) with TeroTuf scales.

Re: Paramilitary 2 Salt ?

If I may extrapolate the equivalence from the Manix 2. Not sure how valid this is, but for science. - G10 - 121g - LW - 82g That's 32% difference. So, for a PM2, - G10 - 109g - LW - 74g or 2.6oz For a knife the size of a PM2, that would be pretty cool. ...... Another way to extrapolate this would b...

With calipers, both of my PM2 scales are 0.2mm thicker (total) than stock G10 scales. In hand, I can't tell the difference.

Re: Knife monogamy is a satisfying yet boring life

Knife model monogamy, in a way yes. That has been the case for a while, but especially with covid and me working from home 90% of the time. Now a steel monogamy? Not for me. I cheat all the time. I would have saved a chunk of cash if I favored a knife which does not lend itself to lot of sprints and...

Re: Native Chief REX45 and S90V Sprint discussion and ANTICIPATION thread!

I got really excited when the REX 45 Chief was first confirmed. Golden made lockback, I know I like the size, and tool steel is majority of my use these days. I have Military and Native in REX 45 already, with the Native getting a lot of use Now that the S90V Chief is announced, I am torn. I'm actua...

Re: Scarcity of CBBL

I don't dislike the lock, but my experience is same as David's. And it is more of a problem with the FRCP handles. Wet or greasy hands, and I better make sure that knife is sitting in the correct spot of my palm. The G10 feels more locked in so it is less of a concern, but still have to make sure th...
