Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

It sucks that this thread got sidetracked into a flipper tirade, however, it seems it would be pretty hard not to talk about that part of the "community" on this release. I'm personally hoping to see the main online dealers at least limiting it to one per household, so it makes it harder ...

Re: Shaman Cruwear; Brown Micarta characteristics

Micarta is nearly as bombproof as well. However, due to the exposed ends of the (usually) cotton fibers, something like a glue spill will "set" into the fibers, and won't be as easy to remove. However, if you have "unbuffed" micarta, a quick and light sanding with some 120 grit paper will bring them...

DLT just had the "Add to Cart" button active, but I couldn't complete check-out in time.

Re: Shaman Cruwear; Brown Micarta characteristics

Simply looks like the difference between linen and canvas micarta (the "L" and the "C" in the sample photos). The Shaman is canvas micarta, and your Native is linen.

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

I didn't realize this forum was so soft on flippers. Or is it that maybe some of the folks above ARE the flippers, so they feel they have to defend the practice? Please, gimme a break. I don't care how you do the math, it's not real hard. I wouldn't necess...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Y'all new to sprint runs or what? Lol, no, not at all. Not me anyway. (Been on BladeForums since '98, with my current handle since '04, so I've been around the block a few times, lol.) But I AM sick and tired of the flippers. I'll tell you what. If I don't like mine, I'll sell it to you for o...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

I see it as proof that folks have had it with the flippers. I know it will be tough, but if people could resist the urge to pay these exorbitant prices, the flippers would wither away and die off. A few extra bucks for shipping, etc. is one thing, but an extra $100 is just pure bull. :rolleyes...

Re: Shaman clip brittle?

Odd. Strangely enough, while my M4 Shaman has seen a good bit of pocket time since I got it, it is one of the few pocket knives I've had that I haven't caught the clip on something and bent it.

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

I hope that any flipper who manages to get ahold of any of these, and tries to flip it for a profit, gets leprosy and loses all their digits. No, I'm not a fan of flippers. I refuse to bend to that extortion. Yeah, I want one. And I have a gut feeling I won't get one. :( Love my M4 ...

Re: M4 Shaman Exclusive

My new M4 Shaman. I'm really liking this knife!!! Hope to see more exclusives of this model, in some other steels. I could see these kicking the PM2's out of my pocket. Very comfortable design, and a nice, beefy blade that still cuts quite well. Definitely enjoying mine! :D Forced pati...

Finally damaged my Maxamet Mule...

Totally my fault too. :( Was doing some Spring cleaning outside today, when I dropped the knife, and it landed on concrete. It landed butt first, mostly on the handle scale, and broke the Diamondwood scale as you can see in the picture. IMG_3911.jpg I can live with that, despite all the ...

Re: M4 Shaman Exclusive

Glad it was a success! I thought that if it didn't sell in the first couple of hours, I would get it. Figured if it was a slow seller, future runs would be less likely, or slower to materialize. Now I can't wait to see what comes next. I may be tempted with the DLC, but I have too many M4 :spyder: ...

Re: M4 Shaman Exclusive

So, I am curious how those people that missed out on this feel about BHQ giving Nick S. the opportunity to buy one ahead of today's release? Was that fair? I mean... It was one knife, but I think the real issue was BladeHQ didn't set a purchase limit like DLT. Mean they both sold out in roughly 5 m...
