Re: The blade length of the Paramilitary 2 could be increased

Im not sure if its been mentioned but I respectfully suggest the opposite- The handle could be shortened. BTW- I applaud those of you capable of speaking your mind, tearing into one another, and getting over it when done to you. The internets are much too full of hypersensitive Nancys just waiting ...

Re: Difference in PM2 blade length

Alright so when the sub routine compounds the interest is uses all these extra decimal places that just get rounded off. So we simplified the whole thing, we rounded them all down, drop the remainder into an account we opened. It's very complicated. It's uh it's aggregate, so I'm talking about frac...

Re: Difference in PM2 blade length

Blades can vary that much just due to the skill of the person sharpening them. Without a doubt! If a blade blank measured 3.000". After the final edge is ground, whether by man or machine the blade must shorten (from the tip) even if only .0002". It will be shorter! How much shorter would depend so...

Re: Difference in PM2 blade length

On my PM2 S110V, the blade, measured from tip to extreme end of G10 scale with a Mitutoyo vernier reads 3.462". :)

Sharpmaker rods should be shortened!

ONLY JOKING, only joking! I just sharpened my very first knife with my new Sharpmaker and I'm pleasantly surprised! Admittedly, I didn't attack a Spyder on my first attempt, but I managed to get an old and faithful German (I could only guess) stainless paring type knife sharp again after beloved wif...

Re: The blade length of the Paramilitary 2 could be increased

But demon you fail to see that the balance would be improved. Balance. Improved. I'm with Mikael and tvenuto on this one! I do however, acknowledge the valid and logical points BFK and others make, but I too believe the extra blade length will balance an otherwise unbalanced and awkward knife! Now,...

Beloved wife thinks I'm manic! I explained to her that the American economy hadn't been as strong as ours of late and the fact that the Amareecans are indeed our friends and allies,it was only fair and reasonable we did what little we can to help. She reluctantly agreed and asked me to move several...

Re: Manbug Salt

I'm quite taken by the ZDP. I was apprehensive about sharpening but found it was no match for diamonds when I reprofiled. It cuts anything I need cut with ease. If there is a better little folding knife on the market, I haven't been able to find it!
