Re: Para 3 and the infamous clip

"The reason you hit a nerve was because of the way you worded your post. Others have expressed how they interpreted it so I won't pile on, but you should choose your words carefully so that there is little chance that you are interpreted in a way that is unfavorable." I agree I think I failed to co...

Re: Para 3 and the infamous clip

Thinking that this is some major flaw that buyers didn't already know about and expecting Spyderco to redesign the knife and ship out free parts to fix the "non-flaw" is not legitimate. It's actually absurd. I didn't say or imply they should redesign the whole knife or give anybody anything for fre...

Re: Para 3 and the infamous clip

Wow... I wasn't trying to be inflamatory I think its a great knife I would like one, no probably about it...I will get one... It checks a lot of boxes for me. But in the hand its looks and feels like... this clip just doesn't belong on this knife . I think I would've come to that conclusion without ...

Para 3 and the infamous clip

I love the PM2 and I am giving the Para3 consideration but I've read and seen so much negativity about the clip and lanyard hole. Besides that the clip and lanyard hole side does look really ugly and cluttered for one thing.. BTW.. I've seen in polls 75% don't use lanyards 95% could live without it....

Re: MAP policy change? 35%

There is a threshold where spending so much on another knife is an acceptable self indulgence ...and then its just not fun anymore. Spyderco doesn't really even need to budget for marketing, their consumers have done a lot to spread the name far and wide all over the internet ...does seem like a lit...

Spyderco You Love with one major flaw...

I can name couple that I've ran across... The LiL Native I loooove this little folder flips open very smooth, great little blade...handle fits so good in the hand for such a small knife ..so much to like but, the compression lock.. love it when it works right..but this knife does not! The tang alway...

Re: Yojimbo point

I'm sure the man himself will chime in on this, but the magic is in the shape of the spine coming away from the point. As you stab into something, the spine pushes the edge along and creates a cutting action. This happens with all knife blades, but with the Yojimbo in particular the triangle shape ...

Re: Ladybug vs Manbug in ZDP-189

I had a Ladybug first... loved the blade shape and thought I wouldn't like the Manbug as much,
but now that I have both....
the Manbug is my favorite and the ZDP-189 was worth the upgrade to me I like it a lot.

MILITARY TI

Hi I love my Para-Militay own several Spydercos its still my favorite. Besides the great compression lock I love its fairly large size at 3.5 So I'm considering a Millie Ti I think I would like the even larger size of the Millie and I like Ti... so weight is not an issue. But... I'm just getting the...

Des Horn

I'm really feeling the Spyderco Des Horn lately... from what I hear this unique Spyderco is discontinued. So I'm thinking about getting one before they're gone. Des Horn makes some real works of art...the Spyderco version looks like the very beautiful Des Horn Concorde... which I could never afford!...
